The present paper focuses on existing on-line services supporting product development activities of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The Chair of Information Technology in Mechanical Engineering has initiated the project "e-engineering-centre" (e-e-c) in this field. The projects result will be a modular platform integrating a great variety of such on-line services. An overview and some examples of such new services, developed within the e-e-c project, as well as first implementation results and experiences are described.
