W artykule omówiono znaczenie dostawcy materiałów budowlanych w realizacji przedsięwzięć budowlanych. Zakłócenia w łańcuchu dostaw negatywnie wpływają na proces realizacji i nieraz mogą powodować duże opóźnienia w harmonogramie przedsięwzięcia budowlanego. W związku z tym, wybór skutecznego i niezawodnego dostawcy staje się dla wykonawcy jednym z najważniejszych elementów zarządzania przedsięwzięciem budowlanym w etapie realizacji. W artykule opisano algorytm wyboru dostawcy na podstawie rozmytej relacji preferencji. Algorytm ten w sensie matematycznym opiera się na teorii porządkowania i teorii zbiorów rozmytych. W artykule także przedstawiono przykład liczbowy zastosowania tego algorytmu do wyboru dostawcy materiałów budowlanych. Wyboru dostawcy dokonano według kryteriów: odległość dostawcy od placu budowy; cena jednostkowa materiału budowlanego; warunki płatności oraz jakość materiału budowlanego.

This article discusses the importance of building materials suppliers in the implementation of construction projects. Any disruption in the supply chain has a negative impact on the implementation process and sometimes can cause long delays in the schedule of construction projects. Therefore, the selection of effective and reliable supplier becomes one of the most important elements of the construction project management. To make the right choice in paper describes an algorithm for selecting suppliers based on fuzzy preference relations. This algorithm, in a mathematical sense, is based on the theory of ordering and theory of fuzzy sets. The article also presents the example of application of this algorithm in the problem of choosing suppliers of materials. The vendor selection was made according to the following criteria: distance of the supplier from the site; the unit price of the building material; terms of payment and the quality of the building material.

Artykuł charakteryzuje środowisko zajmujące się technologią, organizacją i ekonomiką budownictwa – głównie środowisko akademickie zgrupowanego wokół Sekcji Inżynierii Przedsięwzięć Budowlanych KILiW PAN. Wyniki opracowano na podstawie ankiety obejmującej okres 2007-2010. Przedstawiono zagadnienia finansowe rzutujące na zakres prowadzonych badań oraz na proces dydaktyczny. Dokonano przeglądu między innymi tematyki badań, studiów podyplomowych, stopni naukowych a także publikacji i współpracy międzynarodowej. Uogólnienia przedstawiono w postaci wniosków ze sfery nauka i dydaktyka.

Problems arising in the community of construction engineering and management experts are presented here. Results are based on a survey covering the period 2007-2010. Financial issues involved in research and teaching, and the overview of topics, including research, postgraduate studies, degrees, publications, international cooperation and collaboration with industry are presented. General conclusions have been drawn regarding teaching and learning, on the basis of suggestions presented by the surveyed academic community.
