The article discusses factors that cause the cement grout used to protect strands stressing concrete bridges against corrosion become its root cause. It presents non-destructive methods of prestressing tendons condition assessment, measures to prevent grout defects and informs about problems with grout repairs.

The paper deals with the plane problem of an elastic layer resting on a Winkler foundation with an emptiness. The stresses in the layer are caused by a given normal loading on its upper boundary plane. The mathematical formulation of the problem leads to a mixed boundary value problem and it is solved using Fourier transform methods and Fredholm integral equation of the second kind. The detailed analysis is derived analytically and numerically for an elliptic distribution of boundary loadings. The results for the normal displacement and the stresses on the lower boundary of the layer are presented in figures.

Główna część pracy dotyczy konkretnie tendencji minimalistycznych we współczesnej architekturze domów jednorodzinnych. Tam idee i cechy charakterystyczne pogrupowano w rozdziały stosowne do przyjętych pojęć: prostota, pustka, porządek i introwersja. Pojęcia te otrzymały podstawę teoretyczną (zawartą w poprzedzających rozdziały słowach wstępnych) oraz zostały skonkretyzowane, uszczegółowione i opatrzone odpowiednimi przykładami i ilustracjami. Poniższa część pracy prezentuje dwie pierwsze grupy - prostota i pustka.

The main part of the work concerns minimalistic tendencies in contemporary architecture of one-family house in detail. Ideas and characteristic features have been grouped in chapters appropriate to established notions: simplicity, emptiness, order and introversion. These notions have received theoretical background (included in chapters' proceeding prefaces) and have been concretized, particularized and provided with appropriate examples and illustrations. The following part of the work presents two first mentioned groups - simplicity and emptiness.
