The influence factors of critical percolation for electrorheological suspensions (ERS) have been investigated. The work described here involves experimental research into the percolation structure under different temperatures and zero eleetric field, of three kinds of ERS: organic, inorganic and SrTi03/PANI composite. This research was based on the experiments in material microstructure by electric-rheometer apparatuses. The prediction values of critical percolation of the three kinds of ERS have been obtained. The effect temperatures on critical percolation values at different electric fields have been investigated and the variable trend of ERS near and over the critical point of percolation have been discussed. The results show that the values of critieal percolation of ERS depend mainly on the characteristics of particles and operating temperatures.
