W Instytucie Technologii Eksploatacji - Państwowym Instytucie Badawczym w Radomiu został opracowany system do badań napędów elektromechanicznych.

At the Institute for Sustainable Technologies - National Research Institute, Radom, Poland a system for electromechanical drive tests was developed. Ellectromechanical drives are, inter alia, used in fire protection systems and process engineering that require the fIow of the medium to be controlled by means of actuator-driven valves. A climatic chamber is a crucial element of the test system as it allows for the determination of the influence of alternating thermal conditions on work parametres of electric servomotors. In order to verify the design assumptions, a numerical simulation of the thermal state in the chamber was conducted in the temperature range of - 35 to + 120 0 C.

A software, which makes possible creating models of the drives through assembling from models of their typical components is presented. The library cantains for standard micromotors (DC and stepping motors), transmission units (clutches and gears) ans simple power supply suitable for testing the dynamics of the newly designed electromechanical devices. Package is built on basis of Matlab/Simulink software. Components of other commercial modules can be used together with presented toolbox to build complex systems (e.g. controlling systems). Mechanical parts of the drives can be presented as stiff systems or as items taking account of various elasticity and dumping parameters.

The historical background of the didactic activity related to the electromechanical drives is presented. The evolution of the teaching scope and methods is characterised. Next the three interacted courses from last years: Mechatronic Drives, Modelling and Simulation of the Precision Devices and Techniques of Testing of Precision Devices are synthetically described. The topics of lectures, classes and practical exercises are added.

W artykule przedstawiono metodę i urządzenie do pomiaru czasu zanikania momentu tarcia w elektromagnetycznych sprzęgłach płytkowych po wyłączeniu zasilania elektrycznego. Wykaza-no inercyjny charakter procesu i wynikającą z tego możliwość automatycznego skalowania układu pomiarowego.

In a paper a method and a circuit for measurement of electromagnetic couple dynamic torque decay time is presented. The inertial character of the process is shown. On that base the automatic scaling of the measurement circuit can be introduced in a process of dynamic identification and classification of electromagnetic couples. The circuit task is to measure the decay time of friction torque between active and passive electromagnetic couple plates. One should start the measure-ment in a moment in which the current passing though the coil is equal to zero and stop it when a moment in which friction torque equals to 0.1 -M,, (nominal torque). The time between switching on and off is called as toj in catalogues and is a basic electromagnetic couple parameter [3,4].
