The new construction of the electrogustomer is presented. The device is to be used for measurements of the taste sensitivity threshold. The instrument stimulates gustatory receptors using electrical current with rectangular waveform. The automatic method allows to search the threshold. the novel, two-pole stimulation is used what assures that the stimulus is applied locally. The technical solution increases the protection of the subjects and makes the test more convenient for the physician.
