Praca przedstawia wyniki badań procesowych przesiewacza rotacyjnego o sicie stożkowym. Jest to maszyna przesiewająca, której sito ma kształt stożka i wykonuje ruch obrotowy wokół osi pionowej lub nieznacznie odchylonej od pionu. Warstwa materiału ziarnistego podawana na sito wykonuje złożony ruch spiralny – zarówno w kierunku promieniowym, jak i obwodowym stożka sitowego. Jest wówczas poddawana oddziaływaniu zmieniającej się siły odśrodkowej, przemieszczając się wzdłuż zmieniającego się promienia stożka sitowego.

The paper presents the results of the tests of the screening process of a rotational screen with a conical sieve. It is a machine sieve whose sieve has the shape of a cone and rotates around a vertical or a slightly inclined axis. The layer of granular material fed to the sieve performs a complex spiral movement – both in the radial and circumferential directions of the cone sieve. It is then subjected to a changing centrifugal force, while moving along the varying radius of the cone sieve. This type of the granular layer movement enables to achieve good processing properties of the screening machine. Machines of this type should be used for screening fine-grained and very fine-grained materials. Such materials are difficult to classify in typical, commonly used screening machines. The design of the tested screen was developed by the authors of this article and then registered in the Patent Office in the form of two patents.
