The article presents the main assumptions of the project “Bytom school = assurance and guarantee of high-quality education” and attempts to assess the effectiveness of activities implemented during the school year. The presented project evaluation results were obtained from pupils and teachers of one of the primary schools. The analysis of the research material allowed to exhibit the short-term goals achieved, as well as the factors positively and negatively affecting the quality of the activities implemented. The reflections/recommendations from the explorations conducted will allow to direct further work in order to achieve the project’s objectives to a greater degree.

Autorki (które w zrealizowanym w latach 2012 – 2015 projekcie edukacyjnym pełniły funkcje kierownika i asystenta kierownika) w cyklu dwóch artykułów podzieliły się własnym doświadczeniem realizacji przedsięwzięcia w kontekście jego jakości. W niniejszym artykule zawarto analizę jakości zarządzania fazą wdrażania projektu. Przedstawiono zasady wypracowania regulaminów i instrukcji, które wraz z umową ze sponsorem stanowią mapę drogową projektu, podstawy zarządzania budżetem i harmonogramem, zasady monitoringu, ewaluacji oraz promocji projektu. Przeanalizowano działania w zakresie stosowania środków zaradczych i naprawczych wobec pojawiających się w projekcie trudności ujawnionych w procesie ewaluacji on-going. Opisano także zasady ewaluacji ex-post, zaplanowanej po zakończeniu realizacji projektu.

The authors (who occupied the posts of a project manager and a project manager assistant within the educational project carried out in the period 2012-2015) in the cycle of two papers shared their experience in execution of the project, taking into account its quality. This paper includes an analysis of the management quality of the project implementation phase. The authors outlined the principles of elaboration of by-laws and instructions, which – together with a contract with a sponsor – make up for the project roadmap, grounds for the budget and schedule management as well as the rules of monitoring, evaluation and promotion of the project. It was discussed how to apply preventive and remedial measures with regard to drawbacks emerging within the on-going project evaluation. The principles of an ex-post evaluation, expected upon completion of the project were also outlined.

Autorki w zrealizowanym w latach 2012 – 2015 projekcie edukacyjnym skierowanym do studentów kierunku budownictwo pełniły funkcje kierownika i asystenta kierownika. Bazując na własnym doświadczeniu, w cyklu dwóch artykułów, przeprowadziły analizę jakości zarządzania projektem, która jest podstawowym czynnikiem decydującym o powodzeniu przedsięwzięcia. W niniejszym artykule zawarto analizę jakości zarządzania fazą formułowania projektu. Przedstawiono zasady definiowania celów projektu i jego rezultatów, analizy ryzyk metodą SWOT, określania szczegółowych zadań i wskaźników będących narzędziem pomiaru rezultatów. Następnie przedstawiono zasady konstruowania budżetu i harmonogramu oraz wypracowanych zasad projakościowego zarządzania projektem.

The authors occupied the posts of a project manager and a project manager assistant within the educational project carried out in the period 2012-2015 offered to the students of the construction specialization. Based on their experience in the execution of the project, in the cycle of two papers the authors conducted an analysis of the project management quality, which is a crucial factor for the successful undertaking. This paper includes the analysis of the management quality of the project’s formulation phase. The authors outlined the principles of a definition of the project objectives and results, together with a risk analysis with the SWOT method, determination of particular assignments within the project as well as indicators used for the estimation of results. Subsequently, the principles of budget and schedule construction as well as the pro-quality project management methods were presented.

The use of semiconductor elements open up new opportunities associated with construction of semiconductor tesla coils. In the semiconductor Tesla coil, the resonant circuit function and the spark gap functions is taken over by an electronic system. The most common way to power up the Tesla’s transformer primary winding is the inverter bridge or half-bridge comprises a pair of MOSFET transistors.

Zastosowanie półprzewodnikowych elementów otwiera nowe możliwości związane z konstrukcją i sposobem działania cewki Tesli. W półprzewodnikowej cewce Tesli funkcję obwodu rezonansowego oraz iskiernik przejmuje układ elektroniczny. Najczęściej spotykanym sposobem zasilenia uzwojenie pierwotne transformatora Tesli jest falownik zwany dalej mostkiem lub pół-mostkiem złożonym z pary tranzystorów MOSFET.

Przedstawiono podstawowe zasady identyfikacji ryzyka, jego analizy i wypracowywania reakcji na ryzyko. Określone zostały procedury zarządzania ryzykiem projektu na różnych etapach jego przygotowania i realizacji.

The publication presents process of project risk management completed at University, based on Silesian University of Technology. The basic principle of risk identification, its analysis and the way of response to the risk, were shown. The publication also defined, project risk management procedures at different stages of project development and implementation.

The need for practical training of future graduates in conditions that are identical to those of their future jobs, with minimal costs, imposed the establishment of simulated enterprises in which they conduct similar activities to those of real companies, using the same procedures and the same equipment. A training simulated enterprise is an interactive learning method for developing entrepreneurship, a modern concept of interdisciplinary integration and application of knowledge, an approach to the process of teaching and learning that provides circumstances for the proof and further practice of the skills acquired by students in professional training. The power of SE resides in the relationship determined by carrying out transactions on training firms and economic realities in the sense that it seeks out the development, operation and earning of a place in the market.

Potrzeba praktycznego szkolenia przyszłych absolwentów w warunkach, które są identyczne do warunków panujących w ich przyszłych miejscach pracy, przy minimalnych kosztach, nałożyła utworzenie symulowanych przedsiębiorstw, w których wykonują oni działania podobne do tych w prawdziwych firmach, przy użyciu tych samych procedur i tego samego sprzętu. Szkoleniowe symulowane przedsiębiorstwo jest interaktywną metodą nauki dla rozwoju przedsiębiorczości, nowoczesną koncepcją interdyscyplinarnej integracji i stosowania wiedzy, podejściem do procesu nauczania i uczenia się, który stanowi okoliczności na dowód i dalszą praktykę umiejętności nabytych przez studentów podczas szkoleń zawodowych. Siła SP znajduje się w relacji określonej przez przeprowadzanie transakcji na firmach szkoleniowych i realiach gospodarczych w tym sensie, że dąży się do rozwoju, działań i zapracowania na miejsce na rynku.

In this paper, a successful and fruitful joint project will be presented. The project joins participants from 9 countries and from 15 universities. Since it started in 2001, this project entitled "Software Engineering: Computer Science Education and Research Cooperation" helped participants to gain excellent, up to date educational material, apply modern teaching methods, exchange experiences with other participants, and work jointly on the further development of lectures, case-studies, assignments, examination questions, and other necessary elements of a course. Project works under auspices of Stability Pact of South-Eastern Europe, and is supported by DAAD. The project started with the creation of a common beginning course in "Software Engineering", but over time it grew and the number of other courses was developed. Finished almost completely are the courses in "Object-oriented programming", "Software Project Management", "Advanced Compiler Construction", and "Data Structures and Algorithms", and some other courses are under development. Aside from the educational collaboration, project members also developed good scientific cooperation, and published several research papers.
