Artykuł zawiera wnioski z podsumowania działań koncepcyjnych i organizacyjnych jakie zostały przeprowadzone w toku rozbudowy uczelnianej platformy edukacyjnej i jej integracji z systemami uczelni. Autorki podjęły starania, aby na podstawie analizowanego przypadku uczelni technicznej, przedstawić rekomendacje związane z tworzeniem edukacyjnej strategii uczelni w zakresie zdalnej edukacji. W artykule przedstawiono dane z ankiet oraz dane dotyczące systemów edukacyjnych Politechniki Gdańskiej, które uzyskano w okresie zawieszenia kształcenia na uczelniach.

The article contains conclusions from the summary of the conceptual and organizational activities that were carried out in the course of the development of the university's educational platform and its integration with the university's systems. The authors made effort to present recommendations related to the creation of the university's educational strategy in the field of remote education, based on the analyzed case of a technical university. The difficulties, challenges, and necessities of remote teaching that were revealed as a result of the pandemic are discussed. The article presents data from surveys and data on the educational systems of the Gdańsk University of Technology, obtained during the suspension of education at universities.

Purpose: The aim of the paper is to compare the possibilities of providing education in the field of on-line learning by presenting tools enabling teaching in the pandemic conditions. Design/methodology/approach: The following methods are used: literature review, analysis of websites of companies, which offering the use of education platforms necessary to conduct distance learning, case study analysis of platforms, which are a remote education tool: Integrated Educational Platform, Microsoft Teams, Google Classrooma and ClickMeeting. Findings: One of the first solutions to prevent the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus pandemic in Poland was the suspension of teaching, educational and care activities in schools and educational institutions for designated periods. The next stage was the introduction and implementation of the obligation to carry out educational tasks using distance learning methods and techniques. Remote learning, which was introduced in a relatively short time, requires meeting many conditions by potential users, i.e. having efficient computer equipment, a place at home to study, access to high-speed internet and educational platforms. Research limitations/implications: The article contains an analysis based on the examples of various educational platforms applied in Poland. In further research, it is possible to create a survey to find out about users’ opinions on educational platforms. With the advancement of technology as well as users' feedback, online learning can be significantly improved in the near future. There are some limitations in research related to conducting distance learning in the country, due to the short period of analysis, lack of information and the difficulty of obtaining comparable data. Originality/value: The presented different solutions, which are used for distance learning, are a comparison of various educational platforms and may constitute their recommendations. Hence the analysis of the case of using various educational platforms in the pandemic reality. The article presents the value of teaching for the society and for its continued proper functioning. Currently, the conditions of the pandemic place significant restrictions on all kinds of education, in schools, colleges, businesses and other training. The article is addressed both to pupils, students, as well as to professionals who use the platforms for training or improvement of their business activities.

W artykule przedstawiono założenia wirtualizacji pisemnej techniki obliczeń arytmetycznych dostępnej dla uczniów z dysfunkcją wzroku z uwzględnieniem wymagań i zindywidualizowanych potrzeb odbiorców odnośnie interfejsu użytkownika. Aplikacja KUBARYTMY jest jednym z narzędzi składowych innowacyjnej platformy edukacyjnej PlatMat wspomagającej edukację matematyczną uczniów z dysfunkcją wzroku, opracowanej w ramach projektu badawczego przez Instytut Maszyn Matematycznych w Warszawie.

The article presents the premises of the virtualization of written arithmetic calculations available to visually impaired pupils. The CUBARYTHMS application takes into account the requirements of the user interface tailored to the diverse needs of end users resulting from the type of possessed visual disability. It is one of the tools of innovative educational PlatMat platform. PlatMat supports math education of visually impaired pupils and is elaborated under a research project in the Institute of Mathematical Machines in Warsaw.

W opracowaniu scharakteryzowano współcześnie stosowane metody, techniki i narzędzia e-learningu, które mogą zostać wykorzystane do celów projektu „Efektywni 50+” realizowanego przez WWSI. Zaprezentowano zarys historii zdalnego kształcenia, generacje i typy zdalnego kształcenia oraz koncepcje metodyczne. Przedstawiono rozwój systemów wspierających kształcenie na odległość i omówiono ich klasy. Scharakteryzowano platformę edukacyjną, portal edukacyjny oraz podręcznik elektroniczny. Przedstawiono również ograniczenia kształcenia na odległość.

The paper characterizes methods, techniques and tools for e-learning, which can be used for the purposes of the Project “Effectively 50” conducted by WWSI. An outline history of remote education, generations and types of distance learning and methodological approaches are presented. The paper presents the evolution of e-learning systems and applications. An elearning platform, an educational portal and an e-book are characterized. The paper shows also the limitations of distance education.

Systemy wspomagające nauczanie posiadają zazwyczaj zapis historii nauczania, czyli tak zwany dziennik (logi). Zapisy logów wykorzystać można do analizy jakości materiałów i stopnia trudności poszczególnych modułów nauki. W pracy przedyskutowano metody rejestracji logów na platformie edukacyjnej oraz przedstawiono wyniki analizy logów dla platformy Moodle.

Teaching support systems usually enable saving teaching history meaning logs. Records of database logs we can use to the quality analysis of materials as well as the degree of difficulty of individual modules of the learning. In this paper the methods of the registration of logs on the educational platform were discussed and analysis results of logs were presented for the Moodle platform.

Present institutions and commercial organizations work is based on systems count to Business Intelligence class. It seems to be advisable to base education process in such faculties as: economy, finance and accounting, computer science, econometrics and management on the dedicated modeling IT platform suitable to achieve practical experience in real market environment. In this article we present the concept of system designated to simulate business processes SMS-B (Simulation and Modeling System for Business) as proposition of educational platform offering integrated end-to-end solution of modern BI computer system. SMS-B architecture as close as possible to the real world imitates essential processes meet in financial enterprise. These functions operate on the base on data generated by business simulation models. The capabilities offered by system for educational purposes are essential for many categories of end-users worked every day with information systems. Especially for IT people, business users, analysts and other sorts of Information consumers. The SMS-B system offers as well as a range of executive services for studies such as statistics, econometrics and enterprise management.

Funkcjonowanie współczesnych instytucji i organizacji komercyjnych opiera się na systemach informatycznych zaliczanych do kategorii Business Intelligence. Wydaje się, że pożyteczne jest oparcie procesu edukacji na takich kierunkach studiów jak: ekonomia, finanse i rachunkowość, informatyka, ekonometria oraz zarządzanie o dedykowane platformy IT wystarczająco wiernie odtwarzające rzeczywiste, informatyczne środowisko pracy. W pracy przedstawiono koncepcję systemu SMS-B (System Modelowania i Symulacji Biznesowych) zaprojektowanego do symulowania procesów biznesowych jako propozycję platformy edukacyjnej oferującej zintegrowane rozwiązania współczesnych systemów informatycznych klasy BI. Architektura systemu SMS-B tak blisko jak to możliwe imituje rzeczywiste środowisko pracy w dużych instytucjach finansowych. Funkcjonalność systemu zakłada wykorzystywanie danych generowanych w oparciu o biznesowe modele symulacyjne. Możliwości oferowane przez system w zakresie zastosowań edukacyjnych stanowią połączenie funkcjonalności oferowanej przez rzeczywiste, współczesne systemy IT wielu kategoriom użytkowników końcowych, w szczególności pracownikom obsługi IT, użytkownikom biznesowym, analitykom i różnym kategoriom konsumentów informacji. Ponadto system SMS-B oferuje różne możliwości użytkownikom szczebla kierowniczego z zakresu statystyki, ekonometrii i zarządzania organizacjami.
