Znajomość opinii klientów co do działań organizacji, w tym uczelni, jest podstawą w jej dalszym funkcjonowaniu na wysoce konkurencyjnym rynku. W celu kompleksowej oceny usług edukacyjnych w uczelni wyższej należy rozpatrzyć czynniki je determinujące. Poznając ocenę oferty usług edukacyjnych przez studentów, można rozpoznać oczekiwania beneficjentów wynikające z ich potrzeb osobistych, przeżyć czy doświadczenia. Rolą kadry zarządzającej jest ustosunkowanie się do potrzeb studentów i zagwarantowanie wysokiego poziomu kształcenia w sprzyjających temu procesowi warunkach. Celem artykułu jest próba oceny istotności czynników determinujących usługi edukacyjne w szkolnictwie wyższym. W badaniu empirycznym przyjęto tezę: Warunki ekonomiczne i organizacyjne oraz popyt na usługi edukacyjne w sposób istotny wpływają na zarządzanie uczelnią wyższą. W ramach przeprowadzonych badań na podstawie wartości ocen parametrów opracowano model logitowy dla jakości kształcenia przebadanych uczelni wyższych.

Familiarity with customer feedback on the organization’s activities, including the university, is the basis to its continued operation in a highly competitive market. In order to evaluate the comprehensive educational services at higher education institutions, it is necessary to consider factors determining them. By recognizing the students’ evaluation of the services, one can recognize the expectations of the beneficiaries based on their personal needs, and experiences. The role of management is to address the needs of students and to guarantee them higher level of education in the conditions which are favourable to this process. The aim of this article is to assess the relevance of factors determining educational services in higher education. In the empirical study, the thesis was adopted: The economic and organizational conditions, educational services prevailing at the university management is significantly influenced by, which has been proved. Within the framework of the conducted research based on the values of the parameter evaluations, a logit model was developed for the quality of education of the studied universities.

Organizowana rokrocznie przez COBRPP konferencja poświęcona szkolnictwu poligraficznemu odbyta się 15 listopada 2012 r. w siedzibie ośrodka, w Warszawie, przy ulicy Miedzianej. W spotkaniu uczestniczyli tradycyjnie dyrektorzy i wydelegowani nauczyciele z 14 monitorowanych szkót poligraficznych.

The Biomedical Engineering appeared as an academic discipline at Polish universities five years ago. Since that time, many young people have chosen it as their future profession. A few hundreds have already received the engineer degree. Most of them decided to continue their education to become Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering. The Silesian University of Technology has been providing courses in Biomedical Engineering since 2007. Currently, on each of the four years of studies 60-100 students participate in various available courses. The education process started at the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science, and now continues within the new Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, the first and only in Poland at the moment. Knowledgeable and experienced professors, wide spectrum of cooperating medical, industrial and academical units and freshly equipped labs allow to provide the offer of modern studies in a challenging and interdisciplinary domain. The paper presents various aspects of biomedical engineering as it was in past and as it is today. A brief presentation of its history, educational offer, cooperating entities and infrastructural facilities as well as a summary of experiences after four years of studies and a short review of the research are included.

In the article the short history, development and introduction to the review of the educational offer in the field of biomedical engineering in Poland were described. The situation of the scientific discipline named biocybernetics and biomedical engineering and development of the clinical profession called medical engineering were also presented.
