Istota działań rewitalizacyjnych polega na podejmowaniu aktywności na obszarach zdegradowanych w sposób kompleksowy, dotyczący zarówno kwestii przestrzennych, społecznych, jak i ekonomicznych. Jest to proces niezwykle złożony i wielowątkowy, wymagający wyczucia i cierpliwości, gdyż efekty są nieraz odłożone w czasie. O sukcesie tych działań można mówić tylko wtedy, gdy wynikają one z kontekstu danej przestrzeni i w niej poszukują potencjału do dalszego rozwoju. Lokalizacja obszarów zdegradowanych w tkance miejskiej zazwyczaj powiązana jest z historycznymi częściami miasta. Złożoność i znaczna skala występujących tam problemów wymaga niejednokrotnie dużych nakładów finansowych oraz skomplikowanych i czasochłonnych procedur. Specyfika tych obszarów wprowadza również wiele ograniczeń i nie daje pełnej swobody działania. Artykuł ten jest próbą przedstawienia przykładowych rozwiązań aktywizujących procesy rewitalizacyjne w tej wymagającej strukturze.

The point of the revitalization process is to undertake activities in degraded areas concerning the issues of spatial, social and economic problems. It is a process extremely complicated requiring tact and patience, because the effects are often postponed. These actions can create success only when their results are based on the potential of space context. Location of degraded areas is very often associated with the historical parts of the city. The complexity and the vast scale of the problems connected with this space very often requires large amounts of money and the complicated and time-consuming procedures. The specificity of these areas also introduces a number of limitations and does not give full freedom of action. This article is an attempt to present examples of solutions activating revitalization processes in this challenging structure.

Security becomes more and more important in all aspects of our lives and Schools are aware that it has become a management problem. In this paper we analyze the obstacles of ICT use for education purposes at school in the Radom region. Is it a lack of ICT security management systems or may be lack of Information and Communication Technology knowledge the reason why this important instrument is not fully implemented in the educational system in this region? To this and other questions we will give answer in this research based on OLAREX survey results.

Bezpieczeństwo staje się coraz ważniejsze we wszystkich aspektach naszego życia, a szkoły uświadamiają sobie problemem w sferze zarządzania. W niniejszym artykule analizujemy przeszkody wykorzystania TIK w celach edukacyjnych w szkole. Czy to brak teleinformatycznych systemów zarządzania bezpieczeństwem czy może brak wiedzy i technologii informacyjnej i komunikacyjnej jest powodem dlaczego tak ważny instrument nie jest w pełni wdrożony w system oświatowy w tym regionie? Na te i inne pytania postaramy się udzielić odpowiedzi w tym artykule na podstawie przeprowadzonych i uzyskanych wyników badań ankietowych OLAREX.

The reliability of a tool condition diagnostic system (TCDS) and success in industrial application depends not only on technical solution and technology applied in the system development, diagnostic methods and strategies applied, but also on the human factor which is ignored the most often. Statistics show that about 45 per cent of false alarms are a result of the operator's errors. This necessitates a deeper analyses of the observed behavior to find its reasons and take them into account in the future development works under a new generation of diagnostic systems. The paper covers considerations directed towards the explanation of the reasons of the observed behavior mentioned above and proposed solution allowing its elimination or limitation in the future diagnostic systems solutions.
