Function of labour education program contents have been studied and determined. Approaches to education contents determination and realization have been presented. The very problem has been analysed. Main and specific functions of labour education program with beads wicker-work specialization have been determined.

During the past ten years, the KHBO-Department of Industrial Sciences and Technology, located at the sea border and nearby the Ostend International Airport, started up the creation of specialized course programmes in Aeronautical- and Avionics Engineering. Trough the STAR-network. KHBO is involved in international student and staff exchange programmes, such as Erasmus/Socrates, Leonardo, the AeroGATES-Adapt-Bis project and the Tempus-cooperation with TU Warsaw and TU Rzeszow, trough STAR-Poland. KHBO is also all avionics-module partner in the international EUROPADS-project, coordinated by Bristol University. After a short introduction to the Belgian educational system, the existing programmes in Aeronautical and Avionics Engineering in Flanders will be considered in more detail. Special focus will be put on the approach for the development of open- and distance learning curricula (ODL) and interactive multimedia-networking.

Podczas ostatnich 10 lat Wydział Przemysłu i Technologii Katolickiej Szkoły Brugge-Oostende (KHBO), położonej w pobliżu międzynarodowego lotniska w Oostendzie, podjął organizację specjalizowanych kursów w zakresie lotnictwa, w tym awioniki. Poprzez Stowarzyszenie STAR (Specialized Training in Aeronautics and Research) KHBO jest włączona do międzynarodowych programów wymiany studentów i pracowników dydaktycznych, takich jak Erasmus/Socrates, Leonardo, AeroGATES, a także współpracuje z Politechniką Warszawską i Politechniką Rzeszowską w ramach programu Tempus. Ponadto KHBO jest partnerem w zakresie awioniki w programie EUROPADS, koordynowanym przez Bristol University. Referat zawiera krótki opis belgijskiego systemu kształcenia, a następnie omówione są programy kształcenia lotniczego, w tym w zakresie awioniki. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na systemy kształcenia otwartego, zaocznego, oraz wykorzystania technik multimedialnych oraz sieci komputerowych.

The aim of the study was to develop a set of curricula for teaching Occupational Safety and Ergonomics at colleges and universities of various types, aimed at equipping students with knowledge and skills and at shaping active attitudes towards the practical application of the acquired knowledge in their future working lives. On the basis of the analysis of the curricula at Polish and foreign colleges and universities, a set (canon) of educational contents constituting a common practice in the academic teaching of Occupational Safety and Ergonomics was established. Then, a convenient for teaching this subject classification of university specialisations in Poland was introduced. This led to identifying and defining a taxonomic unit called here an educational profile. Next, curriculum minima for the developed profiles were defined objectively. To achieve this aim, the set of educational contents was ranked by university teachers and specialists in occupational safety and ergonomics. Each part of the educational contents (subject) was ranked on a 10-point scale in relation to each educational profile. The results of this ranking led to formulating sets of educational contents for each educational profile. On this basis, a repertoire of curricula (6 curricula, in 2 hour-by-hour versions each) was prepared, with methodological guidelines for lecturers. The results of the study were presented in the form of a manual for academic authorities.
