This article deals with me accomplishment of teaching process. Using the Y-CIM model, the university faculty is referred to as a production system. The concurrence of both production and teaching processes has been shown. The teaching process as well as the production one demand careful preparation and realization throughout its suitable designing, planning, execution, checking and necessary correction. The analysis of place and role of the Dean Office plays an important role in the realization of the teaching process, its planning and checking. It is also an administrative and information centre of the Faculty. Both the range and information system of the Dean Office services have been suggested with special reference to the use of Internet technologies. Also the factors having influence upon the quality of the teaching process have been mentioned.

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań ankietowych, przeprowadzonych wśród studentów chemii Uniwersytetu Opolskiego, Uniwersytetu im. J.A. Komeńskiego w Bratysławie i Wyższej Szkoły Pedagogicznej w Hradec Královè, dotyczące komputerowego wspomagania kształcenia studentów chemii. Uzyskane wyniki przedstawiają obecny stan informatyzacji kształcenia chemicznego w wybranych uczelniach i wskazują na konieczne kierunki zmian w zakresie informatyzacji edukacji chemicznej.

In the article, results of questionnaire investigations concerning application of a computer in chemical education are presented. The questionnaires filled up by populations of chemistry students of Opole University, J.A. Komenski University in Bratislava and Pedagogical University in Hradec Královè were considered. The results obtained show the state of computerisation in the chemical education in above-mentioned academies and suggest directions of necessary changes in this field.
