Research on ecologicultural environment under the background of rural revitalisation

In order to improve the development of rural areas, ecological agriculture has certain advantages because it is a comprehensive and complex type of agricultural industry. As the main force in the implementation of Rural Revitalisation (RurR) and ecological agriculture, farmers’ ecological consciousness plays a crucial role in the final realisation of RurR strategy and the construction of ecological agriculture. This paper conducted a questionnaire survey on 1010 farmers in 8 districts of city A, and studied the ecological knowledge, ecological seriousness and attribution of ecological problems of farmers. Combined with the relevant research results, this paper formulated three strategies to promote the development of efficient ecological agricultural environment: strengthening rural ecological publicity, vigorously developing ecological agriculture, and actively giving play to the guiding role of the government.

Celem artykułu jest charakterystyka i analiza głównych grup zmian, jakie nastąpiły w polskim systemie ochrony przyrody w latach 1989-2015 oraz wskazanie obszarów problemowych, które wymagają dalszej poprawy. W trakcie badań nad przedstawianymi problemami wykorzystano analizę aktów prawnych i danych statystycznych oraz studia literaturowe.

Changes which have taken place in Poland since the political and economic transition of the year 1989 concern many various aspects. One of them is nature protection system. In this case three main kinds of changes may be specified, namely: legal and institutional ones, building ecological consciousness and establishing new forms of nature conservation. Changes in the nature protection systems allow for building a coherent system of nature conservation as well as for the better preservation of biodiversity and natural values. Pro-ecological NGOs in Poland are more active – that also may be a sign of rising ecological consciousness. The control of investment process is getting stronger as well. However, some questions related to nature protection still require improvement.

Artykuł prezentuje wybrane zagadnienia z zakresu problematyki zrównoważonego rozwoju ujęte w perspektywie globalnej i lokalnej. Przedstawia w sposób przeglądowy aspekty ekologiczne szeroko rozumianego procesu wzrostu i rozwoju społeczno-ekonomicznego. Rozważa możliwość osiągnięcia harmonii między działalnością gospodarczą człowieka, konsumpcją a zdolnością środowiska naturalnego do trwania i odnawiania się. Jednym ze sposobów osiągnięcia równowagi między produkcją, konsumpcją a środowiskiem naturalnym jest recykling, traktowany jako zasadniczy element dynamicznego układu wzajemnych zależności między tymi sferami, będący tym samym ważnym warunkiem przetrwania ludzkiej społeczności zarówno w wymiarze globalnym jak i lokalnym. W artykule podkreśla się konieczność ujmowania recyklingu nie tylko w kategoriach technicznoorganizacyjnych, ale w szerszej perspektywie - łączącej aspekty ekonomiczne i społeczne. Pozyskiwanie surowców wtórnych w procesie recyklingu zmniejsza negatywne obciążenia środowiska naturalnego, będąc jednym z ważnych aspektów zrównoważonego rozwoju, opartego na trwałej równowadze między trzema rodzajami kapitału: ekonomicznym, ludzkim i przyrodniczym. Przegląd wybranych zagadnień związanych ze społeczno-ekonomicznymi aspektami zrównoważonego rozwoju pokazuje, że szeroko rozumiana problematyka ekologiczna powinna być ujmowana w pogłębionej perspektywie humanistycznej, socjologicznej i filozoficznej, a tym samym dotykać sfery wartości, postaw, zachowań, a także świadomości ekologicznej.

The article presents selected issues of the problems connected with the sustainable development within the global and local perspective. It summarizes the economic aspects of the broadly understood growth process and the socio-economic development. It discusses the possibility of reaching the harmony between the economical activity of the man, the consumption and the ability of the natural environment to exist and restore itself. One of the ways to reach the balance between the production, consumption and the natural environment is recycling, treated as an essential element of the mutual dependencies of dynamic relation between theses spheres, and thus at the same time an important condition of the human society existence, both in the global and the local dimension. The article emphasizes the need to understand recycling not only in the technical-organizing aspects, but also in the broader perspective - linking the economical and social aspects. Acquiring the secondary resources in the recycling process lowers the negative loads of the natural environment, being one of the important aspects of the sustainable development, based on the constant balance between the three capitals: economical, human, and environmental. The summary of the selected issues connected with the socio-economic aspects of the sustainable development shows that the broadly understood ecological problems should be discussed within a profounder human, social and philosophical perspective, and thus it should cover the spheres of: values, attitudes, behaviors, as well the ecological consciousness.

Analiza wiedzy rolników konwencjonalnych na temat zanieczyszczeń środowiska naturalnego oraz otoczenia rolnictwa przez działalność rolniczą pozwala stwierdzić, że jest ona niewystarczająca. Z badań wynika, że większą uwagę na zagrożenia równowagi środowiskowej wynikającej z intensywnej gospodarki rolnej, zwracają rolnicy o wyższym poziomie wykształcenia.

Analysis of conventional farmers' knowledge about pollution of the natural environment and the neighbourhood of agriculture entitles one to state that the level of that knowledge is insufficient. It follows from the research that farmers with higher level of education pay more attention to issues concerning hazards to environmental equilibrium posed by intensive farming.

W 2004 r. wykonano badania ankietowe dotyczące stanu świadomości ekologicznej wśród studentów i ich rodziców. Badania wykazały znaczna zbieżność poglądów i świadomości respondentów w układzie rodzic i jego dorosłe dziecko. Na szczególne podkreślenie zasługuje fakt, iż ponad 80% studentów uważa zatrucie środowiska naturalnego za podstawowe zagrożenia związane z rozwojem cywilizacji. Analogicznie wśród rodziców takie samo zdanie posiada tylko 51% ankietowanych.

In the 2004 the questionnaire investigations relating the state of ecological consciousness were carried out among students and their parents. The investigations show considerable convergence of the respondents' opinion and between parents and their adult children. It should be stressed that over 80% students consider the environmental protection to be the greatest danger connected with the development of civilization. Such an opinion was represented by only 51% of parents.
