Life Cycle Assessment, especially using Eco-Indicator 99 method, become more and more common as method, but also as a technique for environmental impacts researching. It can be seen as a basis and the most appropriate implementation way of Integrated Product Policy, promoted by the European Committee of the Council of Ministers, and also of guidelines on CSR, contained in so-called Green Paper of the European Commission. Although LCA itself is an idea three decades older than mentioned documents, because of the subject, as well as specific rules, it fully corresponds to the intended purpose of IPP.
