This article presents a method of the hardware upgrade of prototype IEC cards. Its purpose is to create a possibility of receiving by the card of the signaling packets transmitted by the D channel in both directions (and not only in one direction - this was possible already with the original structure). The new hardware platform proves to be a perfect basis for creating a new version of an educational analyzer of the signaling protocol, not inferior to any very expensive professional equipment.
