An increase of the ecological approach to the management of meadows and pastures has been observed.However,it is not based on adequate knowledge about that.That is the reason why the author of the presented article discusses in detail ecological methods of grassland management.The necessity of maintaininig a floristic variety in the areas and high level of greenness growth digestibility is emphasized. Another significant task to observe is adequate fertilizing of the areas so that it could improve nutritive qualities of the pasture crops and at the same time did not deteriorate phytosociology of a grassland.The author also emphasizes the significane of applyng an adequate technique of mowing the greenness growth.
