Celem badań nad podjętym tematem było pogłębienie wiedzy w zakresie sztuki publicznej w przestrzeni miast, przestrzeni zróżnicowanej pod względem urbanistycznym, krajobrazowym, kulturowym i społecznym, a także pod względem odmiennych postaw i potrzeb zarówno twórców, jak i odbiorców. Analizie badawczej została poddana wielozmysłowość przestrzeni, którą transfiguruje architektura i sztuka. W niniejszym artykule omówiono problematykę konstruowania czasoprzestrzeni, kształtowania tożsamości narodowej i regionalnej miejsca poprzez wprowadzenie do realnej przestrzeni działań z zakresu sztuk wizualnych, które pełnią rolę dla niej uzupełniającą w wyniku zastosowania nowych form, kolorów, dźwięków, zapachów, materiałów i faktur. Poprzez warstwę symboliczną sztuka pozwala nam identyfikować się z danym miejscem. Interesuje mnie płynność pomiędzy architekturą a instalacją, nie tylko pod względem formalnym, ale też pod względem ideologicznym. Architektura i instalacja są sobie bliskie. Mam tu na myśli te realizacje architektoniczne, które same w sobie stanową rzeźbiarskie dzieło sztuki. Można tu wymienić wiele przykładów, o których wspominam w artykule, ale szczególną uwagę przykładam do artysty konceptualnego Daniela Burena, który współpracował z takimi architektami, jak Frank Ghery czy Frank Lloyd Wright.

Works on the subject were started with the aim to advance knowledge about public art in the urban space; a space highly diversified in terms of urban planning, landscape, cultural and social aspects, but also the attitudes and needs of the authors and the recipients. The research analysis focused on the multisensuality of space, transfigured through architecture and art. The article discusses the issues of building the time-space continuum and shaping the national and regional identity of places by introducing visual art projects into the factual space, to complement it with the new forms, colours, sounds, fragrances, materials and textures. We use the symbolic layer of art to identify with places. I am particularly interested in the smoothness of boundaries between architecture and installation, not only in formal terms, but also from the ideological perspective. There is a close connection between architecture and installations, clearly reflected by architectural projects which alone are sculptural works of art. The examples are numerous, and I will mention some of them further in the text, but my primary intention is to place maximum focus on an internationally acclaimed conceptual artist Daniel Buren, who cooperated with architects such as Frank Gehry or Frank Lloyd Wright.

Autor omawia ogólne zasady i praktyczne problemy systemowego zabezpieczenia potrzeb logistycznych misji pokojowych ONZ. Kolejno analizuje: podstawy formalnoprawne, organizację i strukturę, kluczowe obszary działania oraz krytyczne warunki funkcjonowania prakseologicznego systemu zabezpieczenia logistycznego misji pokojowych. Dziedzinowe obszary zabezpieczenia logistycznego charakteryzuje pod kątem osiągania celów politycznych, operacyjnych, społecznych i humanitarnych planowanej misji pokojowej. Zwraca uwagę zwłaszcza na unikatowość i niepowtarzalność każdej misji pokojowej ONZ, dla której należy od podstaw zaprojektować odpowiedni system logistyczny, a także na groźny dualizm cywilno-wojskowy kierowania logistyką na szczeblu strategicznym misji i równie szkodliwy dysonans między profesjonalną logistyką wojskową a dominującą komercyjną logistyką cywilną.

The author discusses general principles and practical problems of the system of securing the logistic needs of UN peace missions. He analyzes the following areas: formal and legal basis, organization and structure, key areas of activity and critical conditions that determine the functioning of the praxeological system of peace missions' logistic support. The areas of logistic support are characterized in terins of achieving political, operational, social and humanitarian goals of the planned peace mission. The author draws attention to the unique and exceptional character of every UN peace mission, for the needs of which as adequate logistic system should be designed from scratch, as well as the dangerous civil ban-military dualism in managing logistics on the strategic level of missions, and the equally harmful disharmony between professional military logistics and dominant commercial civilian logistics.

Niekonwencjonalna metoda wyznaczania nieliniowości całkowitej precyzyjnych mostków termometrycznych

Opracowano model metrologiczny mostków termometrycznych AC o najwyższej precyzji uwzględniający addytywną i multiplikatywną składową błędu oraz nieliniowość. Określono warunki, przy których pozostaje jedynie błąd liniowości mostka. Podano niekonwencjonalny sposób wyznaczania tego błędu, nazwany metodą dychotomii o algorytmie polegającym na dzieleniu zakresu pomiarowego i kolejno powstających jego części na połowę. Za pomocą graficznej interpretacji metody otrzymano analityczne wyrażenia dla błędu liniowości. Metoda wymaga zestawu par cztero-zaciskowych rezystorów wzorcowych. Mierzy się rezystancję każdego rezystora wzorcowego oraz szeregowego połączenia dwu jednakowych z nich. Rozpatrzono przyczyny niedokładności takiego sumowania fizycznego. Podano przykład wyznaczania błędu liniowości rzędu 0,1 ppm i poniżej.

The metrological model of high precision thermometric AC bridges is presented. It contains an additive, multiplicative and linearity errors. The conditions under which remains the linearity error only are given. Proposed is the unconventional method of measure and calculating the linearity error under name the dichotomy method, which has the algorithm based on the division of the measurement range and the subsequent intervals in half. In this method the additive linear function is applied. With the graphical interpretation the analytical expression for the error of linearity was obtained. This method can be easily implemented in any metrology lab. As the hardware proposed is the set of paired four terminal reference standard resistors. Measurements by tested bridge the resistance of each of them separately and of given the physical connection of them both has to be done. The reasons affecting the accuracy of the physical summation is discussed. On calculations and data of experimental examples is find that the measurement of the bridge linearity error of 0,1 ppm or less is possible.

On the dichotomy of a system of higher order linear differential equations

In this paper we develop a method for the decomposition of solutions of a system of higher order linear differential equations under an exponential dichotomy. This method is based on properties of the parametric transfer function and on properties of the two-sided Laplace transform. Key-words: Dichotomy, the Greer matrix, the transfer function, the Laplace transform.

W artykule tym rozwijamy metodę dekompozycji rozwiązań układu linio- wych równań różniczkowych wyższego rzędu ze względu na dychotomię wykładniczą. Metoda ta bazuje na własnościach parametrycznej transmitancji dwustronnej transformaty Laplace'a.
