In a competitive market small and medium enterprises (SMEs) should react to the client or potential client expectations as fast as possible because in any enterprise, and especially in those belonging to the class of SMEs the most important capital consists of customer loyalty. In this paper the problem of the SME operation management is discussed. First and foremost the method and the software tool that assists pianist-engineer in the decision making of production order acceptance for realisation is presented.
