System drzwi czołowych w pojazdach szynowych przeznaczonych do wagonów osobowych winien spełniać ściśle określone wymagania. Jako element powszechnie dostępny pasażerom musi być estetyczny i nowoczesny, charakteryzować prostotą użytkowania, jak i obsługi. Przede wszystkim jednak powinien skutecznie chronić przed hałasem oraz stanowić barierę ogniową na wypadek pożaru. W pracy przedstawiono rezultaty badań drzwi czołowych wagonów osobowych. W rezultacie tych działań stwierdzono, iż analizowany system drzwiowy w sposób właściwy chroni pasażerów przed rozprzestrzenianiem się dymu i ognia.

System of doors used in passengers carriages, which are designed for the public transport, along with tec hnical advance and new requirements, should be al developed to be easy in maintenance, quiet during operations, have a modern appearance and protect the traveling peoples in case of fire. Ali guiding principles for the trains and constructional components of trains are mentioned in Charters of International Union Railways (UIC regulations) and determines the so called canon according principles, which are the base construction and acceptance for the operation of describe bed vehicles. Along with technical development there is necessity to produce more modern vehicles, which are needed by the potential passenger, his attention should be riveted by the comfort, сопѵепіепсе of travellin, silence, what is more he should be also convinced that his travels luxury conditions are safe and all епѵігогonment around him will not be a reason of his harm eve in case of fire. In compliance with this idea Rawag undertakes an actions to construct whole system of the front fire-resistant doors, modern in appearance, quiet in operations and failure - free.
