The article presents the modular set of apparatus for testing the stability, rigidity and safety of fire engines, fire ladders, lifts and other special vehicles with devices intended for work at height. The system allows testing the vehicles subjected to the side tilt and static and dynamic loads characteristic for the rescue and fire actions at heights. The structure of the system includes distributed actuation modules, control modules, and measurement modules adapted for individual operation as well as for combined operation. The applied communication protocols, control algorithms, specialised programming environment and wireless communication system between modules allow for flexible configuration of this system for the testing with free arrangement of function and space adapted for the tested object and the type of performed tests.

W artykule opisano konfigurację i zasadę działania systemu testowego do badania bezpieczeństwa urządzeń ratownictwa wysokościowego stosowanych przez służby ratownicze. System składa się z przenośnego komputera, bloku akwizycji danych i modułów pomiarowych wyposażonych we własne źródła zasilania i radiowe moduły transmisyjne. Jest przeznaczony przede wszystkim do badań dopuszczających urządzenia ratownictwa wysokościowego do użytkowania w jednostkach Straży Pożarnej.

The article presents the configuration and the operation principles of the test systems for testing the safety of the devices of the high rescue used by rescue services. The system consists of a portable computer, a data acquisition block, and measurement modules equipped with their own power supplies and radio wave transmission modules. It is intended for certification testing of the devices of the high rescue for use in fire department units.
