W ostatnich latach obserwujemy wzrost zainteresowania kształtowaniem nowego rodzaju zabudowy powiązanej ze środowiskiem. Powstają takie obiekty architektury, których forma zatraca granice z otoczeniem i wplata się w scenerię krajobrazu wody. Ważnym aspektem takich rozwiązań i skierowania działań na kolonizację środowiska wodnego są zmiany klimatyczne, jakie można zaobserwować w ostatnich dekadach. Morza i oceany zajmują ponad 70% powierzchni Ziemi. Budownictwo powiązane z wodą staje się coraz bardziej popularne, w związku z czym w przyszłości człowiek będzie musiał zmierzyć się z tym zagadnieniem na większą skalę. W zaprezentowanym artykule zostaną przedstawione przykłady futurystycznych rozwiązań architektonicznych powiązanych z wodą.

In recent years (recently) there is observed an increased interest with forming new kind of housing related to environment. There are constructed such architectural objects, which lose its borders with surroundings and mingle in/weave in the landscape scenery of water. Climate changes, which can be seen in the last decades, are an important aspect of the water environment settlement. Oceans and seas cover over 70% of Earth’s surface. Building engineering connected to water becomes more and more popular and, for the above reasons, the man will have to face this issue on a wider scale. In the presented paper, some examples of futuristic architectural solutions connected to water will be shown.

The undeniable fact is that in every new branch of science and industry the time and experience are indispensable to predict what kind of new possibilities and consequences the upcoming changes will bring about. At present, the awareness of the needs, shortcomings and problems connected with a wide range of floating building industry requires that both careful and sustainable actions be taken in order to create safe developmental directions. Accordingly, we also have to be aware of the fact that floating architecture is still at the very beginning of its way through the social, as well as usable, ecological and economic area. Any of these sustainable area developments, we enter together with the 'unknown architecture promise' should be accomplished in a very controlled way.
