W niniejszym opracowaniu dokonano analizy sytuacji w podsektorze przesyłu i dystrybucji energii elektrycznej w Polsce ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem liczby odbiorców końcowych, zmian związanych z wyborem sprzedawcy energii elektrycznej, struktury sieci przesyłowej i dystrybucyjnej oraz międzynarodowego obrotu energią elektryczną. W dalszej części opracowania omówiono podstawowe ryzyka związane z dystrybucją energii elektrycznej oraz perspektywy zmian w systemie przesyłu i dystrybucji energii elektrycznej w Polsce.

This work analyses situation in the sub-sector of transmission and distribution of electric energy in Poland, focusing in particular on the number of the final customers, changes connected with a selection of electricity supplier, structure of the transmission and distribution network as well as international trade in electric energy. The further part of this paper deals with the issue of basic risks involved in the distribution of electric energy and prospects of changes in the system of transmission and distribution of electric energy in Poland.

Many work related electric accidents occurred in electric energy industries and they were very often fatal. The situation of electric accidents in electric companies worldwide is investigated by reviewing the scientific literature, to offer perspectives on the types and kinds of statistics available, the factors regarded as influencing their occurrence, their consequences, and also methodological shortcomings. Worldwide, reliable comparable data exist and indicate a downward trend in fatal electric accidents. Difficulties were encountered in compiling international statistics because of differences in how accident data were defined and recorded, variations in mandatory practices, lack of suitable data and indices, accident insurance systems, and lack of correlation between technical, financial, and medical aspects.
