Istotą problematyki związanej z dystrybucją kontenerów z portów morskich Gdańska i Gdyni w aspekcie przewozów intermodalnych jest istnienie prężnego logistycznego zaplecza lądowego. Odpowiedni zakres współpracy terminali kontenerowych oraz centrów logistycznych między innymi z tzw.: „Centrum Logistycznym Rejonu Trójmiasta” na bazie z „Intermodal Container Yard”- w Zajączkowie Tczewskim w zakresie efektywności realizacji usług logistycznych już jest realizowane. Przyszłościowo zakłada się wykorzystanie lokalizacji nowego centrum logistyczno - dystrybucyjnego kontenerów w Gdyni tj.: do realizowanej nowej inwestycji ramach realizowanego projektu – „Suchy port” - "Doliny logistycznej" na terenach portowych Gdyni.

In the aspect of intermodal transports an existence of the supple logistic land back is nature of issues bound with distribution of containers from seaports of Gdańsk and Gdynia. Appropriate scope of the cooperation of terminals and logistic centres so-called: „Centre of Logistic of Trójmiasto” area from „Intermodal Container Yard”- in Zajączkowie Tczew in the scope is already realized by the services. In the future using the location of the new centre will follow logistic - distribution of containers in Gdynia for investment carried out framework of the project made plans - Dry -"Valley port logistic" Gdynia effectiveness of the completion of logistic.

In the paper, the problems have been presented connected with containers delivery from railway terminals to consignees on the assumption of minimal costs of transportation. One of the linear programming method has been applied to forecast the costs, known as transportation problem.
