The paper presents application of differential electronic nose in the dynamic (on-line) volatile measurement. First we compare the classical nose employing only one sensor array and its extension in the differential form containing two sensor arrays working in differential mode. We show that differential nose performs better at changing environmental conditions, especially the temperature, and well performs in the dynamic mode of operation. We show its application in recognition of different brands of tobacco.

In this article stability and asymptotic properties of a real two-dimensional system x'(t) = A(t)x(t) +[...]=i Bj(t)x(t - r j) + h(t, x (t), x (t - n), ...,x(t- rn)) are studied, where r1 > 0,..., rn > 0 are constant delays, A, B1, ..., Bn are the matrix functions and h is the vector function. Generalization of results on stability of a two-dimensional differential system with one constant delay is obtained using the methods of complexification and Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and some new corollaries and an example are presented.

Strange non-typical behaviour of 3-generated modules of vector fields on 4-dimensional manifolds, at certain generic points of degeneration, has been announced in [5]. A new short proof of that geometric anomaly is now proposed ; it hinges on a careful examination of the Pfaffian equation associated to the respective codimension 1 differential system.

In our paper we deal with (If/ , p) -integral equivalence of systems: (a) x'(t) EA(t)x(t) +F(t,x,), (b) y'(t) = A(t) y(t). To reach this aim we use Ky Fan fixed point theorem. To proofuniforrnly boundedness we use Iemrnas 6 and 7 which deal with g-compactness.
