This work presents the main descriptors of the diagnostic system machines exploitation. Determine the measure of the technical state, the boundary value and the periodicity of diagnostics. Problems and the tasks of the system of the exploitation of machines with utilization of computer techniques were distinguished on this background.

W niniejszej pracy zaprezentowana zostanie prototypowa konstrukcja światłowodowego czujnika drgali przeznaczonego do diagnostyki maszyn i urządzeń elektroenergetycznych. Wykorzystanie włókna światłowodowego jako elementu czujnikowego pozwoliło na stworzenie prostej konstrukcji, która charakteryzuje się odpornością na zakłócenia elektromagnetyczne, iskrobezpicczeństwem oraz izolacją galwaniczną. Dzięki swoim zaletom niniejszy czujnik może być stosowany w miejscach, gdzie instalacja czujników elektrycznych nie jest możliwa. Wstępne pomiary porównawcze i testowe potwierdziły skuteczność opracowanej konstrukcji.

The prototype construction of the optical fiber vibration sensor for machines diagnostic and monitoring is herein described. The optical fiber was used as both: the sensor, and signal transmission channel. Thereby such features as: electromagnetic noise immunity, electrical isolation of the sensor from the measuring unit and spark-safety are fulfilled. Due to mentioned advantages, the measurements can be performed in environment where electrical methods couldn't be applied. Preliminary tests and measurements confirmed the efficiency of the sensor.
