W pracy rozpatrzono związki rachunku kosztów z funkcjonowaniem podsystemu diagnostycznego w systemie działania. Stwierdzono, że racjonalnie wdrożony i właściwie działający podsystem diagnostyczny zwiększa efektywność funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstwa, w aspekcie ustalonych zadań operacyjnych, taktycznych i strategicznych.

In the paper there were examined connections between costs calculation and functioning of the diagnostic subsystem in the executing systems. It was found out, that rationally implemented and properly operating, the diagnostic subsytem increases the company functioning effectiveness, concerning the operational tasks, tactical and strategic.

Presents an intelligent flexible, sensor based system which ensues reliable process state monitoring and control for application in cylindrical grinding which is being developed at the Technical University of Lodz. The functions and structure of such a system are discussed and next the general structure of the system is presented. This is a hierarchical control system. A monitoring subsystem and a servo control module are at the lowest level of the system. The higher level is a diagnostic subsystem and adaptive control module. The diagnostic system generates data for adaptive control and, independently of the AC system makes decision about tool regeneration, a change of process limitation or failure stoppage of the process. The third and highest level of the system performs the global optimization of the process which determines machining performance, initial machining parameters and algorithms for the lower system levels. The last section of the paper presents the hardware setup of the system.
