In the simulation and verification of the NC machining programs most often approaches are: exact and approximate approach. For real-time NC machining program verification, only approximate approaches are suitable, by the reason of simulation cost O(N)( simulation time grows linearly with the number of tool movements). For the real-time purpose simulation it is important that simulation is not view-depended and animation should be smooth by 25 frames per second. In this paper a developed module for approximate approach verification of generated NC machine program for three axis milling is presented, based on dexels. Workpiece and tool are approximated by dexels, which are connected by triangular mesh. Depends on the computer hardware, workpiece and tool resolution may vary. This approach enables that tool and workpiece could be arbitrary shape. System is developed by use of 3D graphics library OpenGL which also, enables a stereo viewing, and that fact could be important in virtual reality era today. Machined workpiece could be transferred as a polygonal mesh in the some of commercial CAD systems for afterward analysis.
