The article reveals the potential of innovation management in regions on the example of the Lubusz Voivodeship. The aim of the article is to analyse the latest activities and initiatives supporting innovation in the Lubusz Voivodeship. To this end, it was important to identify the natur of the implementation process of innovative solutions, which may be recognized as politicial, i.e.: characterized by top-down initiatives and bottom-up implementation. The method of document analysis was used in the study, including primary and secondary sources. As a results, conclusions and recommendatitons for regional policy to support innovation were drawn. They indicate the need to use the scientific potential of University of Zielona Góra and other scientific and research institutions. They also reveal the need to strengthen the cooperation of the local self-government with the University for the development of innovation and creation of partnership networks in the region.

Nieubłaganie zbliża się czas na nowe dotacje. W perspektywie lat 2014–2020 będzie to 72,9 mld euro zgodnie z zapisami projektu Umowy Partnerstwa, na realizację 15 regionalnych programów zostanie przeznaczone ok. 60% funduszy strukturalnych (Europejski Fundusz Rozwoju Regionalnego i Europejski Fundusz Społeczny) dla tej kategorii regionów. Środki nie są małe. Ale ile z tej puli trafi do przedsiębiorstw i na jakich warunkach?

The interdependence of the regional environment state with the level of enterprise development

The purpose of this article is to determine to what extent the state of the regional environment, influences the development of companies located in different regions. In the first part, the paper characterizes the regional environment and presents it as a factor in the development of enterprises. In the second part, based on statistical data, the relationship between the development of regional environment and the enterprise development in individual voivodeships in 2006-2010 was examined.

Celem artykułu jest określenie wpływu otoczenia regionalnego na rozwój przedsiębiorstw w poszczególnych województwach. W pierwszej części artykułu scharakteryzowano otoczenie regionalne oraz przedstawiono je jako czynnik rozwoju przedsiębiorstw. W części drugiej, na podstawie danych statystycznych zbadano zależności pomiędzy stanem otoczenia regionalnego i rozwojem przedsiębiorstw w poszczególnych województwach w latach 2006-2010.
