The last years brought significant change in the warehouse sector in Poland. The central location in Europe, Polish membership in the European Union, stable political and economic situation and the cost of maintenance of the warehouses, influenced enormous growth of leasable warehouse premises. International companies located on Polish ground are changing the market of modern warehouse spaces in Poland. The purpose of this article is twofold: 1) to highlight the common situation on the modern warehouse space market in Poland, with special attention to the developers, their clients, characteristics of regional markets; technical issues of modern warehouses and legal aspects of the contracts; 2) to present the main factors and trends which contribute to the development of the modern warehouse space market in Poland.
