Artykuł ma na celu przedstawienie jednej z metod rozwiązywania pewnych układów równań liniowych. Jest przeznaczony głównie dla studentów pierwszego roku studiów licencjackich i inżynierskich na kierunkach technicznych. W artykule przedstawiono wzory Cramera oraz podano przykłady ilustrujące ich zastosowanie w rozwiązywaniu układów równań. Na końcu artykułu zamieszczono zadania do samodzielnego rozwiązania.

This short course is intended for beginners and, therefore, it contains only basic information on the determinant. A recursive definition of the determinant is given based on the Laplace expansion. It is shown how to compute determinants of different orders on the basis of the definition, using Laplace's formula against any row or column, and by means of elementary operations. Basic theorems are given to facilitate the calculation of determinants. The content is illustrated with numerous solved examples, with self-testing examples and answers provided at the end of the course.

Determinanty innowacji oraz poszerzanie innowacyjnych kompetencji - to zagadnienia, które powinny inspirować praktyków do zwiększania wartości kapitału ludzkiego i polepszania jakości zarządzania nim nie tylko w strukturach wojskowych, lecz także w innych organizacjach. W artykule poruszono problematykę zwiększania innowacyjnych kompetencji utalentowanych żołnierzy zawodowych i podchorążych na przykładzie polskich sił powietrznych. W tym celu skorzystano z wybranej literatury przedmiotu - krajowej i zagranicznej oraz z dostępnych badań wtórnych przeprowadzonych w Wojsku Polskim. Wykorzystano również własne badania - sondaż diagnostyczny, w którym wzięło udział 213 utalentowanych żołnierzy zawodowych z 1 i 2 Skrzydła Lotnictwa Taktycznego oraz 49 podchorążych z Wyższej Szkoły Oficerskiej Sił Powietrznych w Dęblinie, obecnej Lotniczej Akademii Wojskowej. Zweryfikowano hipotezy oraz sformułowano wnioski teoriopoznawcze i utylitarne.

Determinants of innovations and development of innovative competences are the ideas which should inspire professionals to increase the value of human capital and the management quality not only in the army, but also in other organizations. The article focuses on the development of innovative competences of professional soldiers and cadets in the Polish Air Force. The research was based on Polish and foreign literature on the subject and the research data available in the Polish Armed Forces. Own results were also used based on a diagnostic survey conducted among 213 talented professional soldiers from the 1st and 2nd Tactical Air Wings as well as among 49 cadets from the Polish Air Force College of Officers (today: Polish Air Force Academy) in Dęblin. The author verified the hypotheses and arrived at theoretical and utilitarian results.

Paper discussed The indicated preliminary analyzes show incomplete knowledge about shaping the ship management model. It is difficult to determine the best way to manage a ship. Defining the main threat for this watercraft, ie: collision, grounding, terrorist attack will allow more accurate assessment of determinants that depend on the type of ship.

Artykuł dotyczy oceny przedwdrożeniowej systemu zarządzania jakością w przedsiębiorstwach motoryzacyjnych. Zaprezentowano piętnaście kryteriów z podziałem na miękkie i twarde, oraz względem zależności z przedsiębiorstwem na: wewnętrzne i zewnętrzne. Kryteria mogą być wykorzystywane do oceny gotowości przedsiębiorstwa motoryzacyjnego do wdrożenia systemu. Z oceny wynikają konieczne działania dostosowawcze lub przesłanki do odstąpienia od wdrożenia systemu zarządzania jakością.

The article is dealing with pre-assessment of the quality management system in automotive companies. The crux of the issue is to identify the factors determining the success of this project. Fifteen criteria divided into soft and hard, and in relation to the company to: internal and external have been presented. The criteria can be used to assess the readiness of the automotive company to implement the system. The evaluation results indicate the necessary adaptation actions or grounds for withdraw from the implementation of the quality management system.

Celem artykułu jest analiza i ocena roli cech charakterystycznych, wyróżników i wyznaczników w klasyfikacji krajobrazu. Sprecyzowano znaczenie w/w terminów. Określono rolę wyróżników i wyznaczników w badaniach krajobrazu, a w szczególności w klasyfikacji i jego ocenie. Uzasadniono potrzebę wprowadzenia wyróżników i wyznaczników do badań krajobrazu, jako kategorii klasyfikacyjnych krajobrazów. Na koniec zwrócono uwagę na znaczenie naukowe i praktyczne zagadnień zaprezentowanych w publikacji.

The purpose of this article is to analyze and evaluate the role of characteristic features, discriminants and landscape determinants in classification. The meaning of above-mentioned terms was also specified. Defined the role of discriminants and determinants in the research landscape, particularly in the classification and assessment. It was justified by the need to introduce discriminants and determinants to study the landscape, as a category classification landscapes. Finally discussed was the importance of scientific and practical meaning of issues presented in the publication.

In this paper we consider a pentadiagonal matrix which consists of only three non-zero bands. We prove that the determinant of such a matrix can be represented by a product of two determinants of corresponding tridiagonal matrices. It is shown that such an approach gives greatly shorter time of computer calculations.

In this paper we show that the determinant of heptadiagonal symmetric Toeplitz matrix can be represented by a particular solution of the system of three homogeneous linear recurrence equations.
