The experimental results for various material systems (3 chemical foamers - anionie, cationic and non-ionic) with three geometrically similar but different sized laboratory models of the defoamers were worked out based on the stochastic modelling methods with application of the dimensional analysis. Such process-related characteristics represent a reliable basis for design of the defoamer presented and permit determination of an "intermediane characteristic", with the dimension of acceleration representing the mechanical degradability of foam.

W oparciu o stochastyczne metody prowadzenia badań, podjęto próbę stworzenia fizycznego modelu działania trójstopniowego mechanicznego destruktora piany. Celem opracowania było stworzenie podstaw projektowania procesowego tego typu urządzenia.

Using stochastic methods of research, the attempts to create the operation model of a 3-stage mechanical destructor were made. The aim of the paper was to create fundamentals for project design of this type of apparatus.
