This aspect should be taken under consideration in the future research on branding of Poland. Practical and social implications: Recommendations are made for Poland’s tourism strategy based on the literature review and results of the research and can be helpful in implementing a culinary tourism strategy in the future. The theoretical and practical application of the research can be used to help Poland in developing a culinary tourism strategy and further understanding of culinary tourists and their motivations to visit Poland as a destination. The intention to return to a destination is one of the important research topics in tourism. The antecedents of revisiting intention confirmed include trip satisfaction, destination image, tourist attitude, and, most recently, memorable tourism experiences. This study tests the hypothesis of the impact of memorable tourism experience components on the intention to revisit the destination of domestic tourists in the community-based tourism in Northern Vietnam. The memorable tourism experience components are adapted from the scale of Kim et al [16], Chandaral et al [6], and Coudounaris et al [9]. The study carried out exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and finally, linear structural equation model analysis (SEM). It confirmed eight components of memorable tourism experiences that positively influence the intention to revisit domestic tourists and do not support the hypothesis that adverse feeling experiences affect revisit intention. There is no difference in intention to revisit the CBT destination between gender groups and different age groups with the research sample obtained.

For a wide range of regions tourism is a critical element of their development. In effect, profound intensification of efforts intended to advance the destination’s competitiveness may be observed. A principal source of competitive advantage in the region is its product including such elements as: natural attractions, cultural attractions, festivals, sleeping accommodation, or communication infrastructure. However, it should be kept in mind that an effective tool for stimulating the tourist demand is suitable marketing communication pursued for the destination. In the paper the author provides insight into core aspects of the destination competitiveness as well as marketing communication. Theoretical contributions) were expanded by the author’s surveys designed to feature the most effective channels for communicating with a potential customer, as well as to identify key message contents, and factors at the heart of making a travelling decision.
