Chaotic behaviour in a stirred tank rector for the first-order exothermic chemical reaction undergoing in a deactivating catalyst particle was considered in the paper. The reactor considered was a continuous one in respect to reacting mixture and a periodical one in respect to a catalyst particle. Temperature independent catalyst deactivation was discussed. Areas of chaotic behaviour of catalyst temperature and areas determined by fluid temperature Tg were shown.
