Przedstawiono wyniki oznaczania zawartości trwałych toksycznych substancji organicznych w osadach dennych Wisły wykonanych w 2005 r. Próbki pobierano trzykrotnie w ciągu roku w pięciu punktach pomiarowych. Pomiarami objęto wybrane pestycydy chloroorganiczne, poli-chlorowane bifenyle, chlorofenole, wielopierścieniowe węglowodory aromatyczne oraz adsorbowalne organicznie związane chlorowce i zawartość całkowitego węgla organicznego.

The paper presents results of determination of content of persistent toxic organic compounds in bottom sediments in the Vistula carried out in the year 2005. The samples had been taken three in five cross-sections of the river. The measurements comprised selected organochloric pesticides, polychlorinated biphenyls, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons as well as organic halogens (AOX) and total organic carbon.
