Jedną z najpopularniejszych metod ocieplania elewacji budynków jest metoda ETICS (ang. External Thermal Insulation Composite System), stanowiąca modyfikację znanej kiedyś metody BSO (Bezspoinowego Systemu Ociepleń), a wcześniej metody lekkiej mokrej. Jest ona często stosowana do wykonywania ociepleń zarówno budynków nowych, jak i starych, wymagających termomodernizacji. Mimo że technologia nie jest bardzo skomplikowana, to jednak częste wykorzystywanie tego systemu powoduje, że spotyka się wiele błędów, które skutkują mniej lub bardziej poważnymi uszkodzeniami elewacji. W artykule omówiono występujące błędy i ich skutki.

One of the most popular methods of thermal insulations ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite System). This method is amodification of the once known as BSO method, and earlier the light wet method. This method is often used to insulate both new and old buildings, requiring thermomodernization. However, despite the fact that the technology is not very complicated, the frequent use of this system causes many errors that may have consequences on more or less serious façade damage. The article below shows the errors occurring and their effect.

The energy absorption potential of a geotextile is nowadays considered a property worth incorporating into national European norms. As the research from independent institutes and DuPont de Nemours demonstrate, there is a correlation between the resistance of a geotextile to the installation stresses and its energy absorption potential. The common reference properties for specifying a geotextile, such as tensile strength or static puncture resistance, do not always reflect the product performance during installation. The importance of installing a geotextile that will resists possible damages during installation has been recognized.

Przeprowadzono ocenę odporności ziarna jęczmienia na powstawanie mikrouszkodzeń. Oceniano odmiany ziarna jęczmienia okryto i nagoziarnistego. Jako parametr oceny przyjęto wartość siły w granicy powstawania mikrouszkodzeń dla ziarna ściskanego między dwoma płytkami. Jęczmień uprawiany był w różnych warunkach agrotechnicznych w uprawie czystej oraz w mieszance z owsem. Analiza statystyczna wykazała jaki jest wpływ badanych czynników na zmiany wytrzymałości doraźnej badanych odmian jęczmienia.

The study dealt with an evaluation of barley grain resistance to arising the micro-damages, Barley of naked and covered grain cultivars were tested. The value of force within the range of arising micro-damages in grain compressed between two plates, was assumed as a valuation parameters. The barley used for tests was grown under various agrotechnical conditions, in pure sowing and in the mixture with oast. The influence of considered factors on the changes in crushing strength of tested barley grain cultivars was determined by a statistical analysis.
