Average flow-duration curves for long term periods are constructed ont the basis of diminishing series of the daily river discharges. The authors, Tomik and Żelazinski, proved that the daily discharges are long-normally distributed and established equations for three parameters (c, μ, σ) estimation. It was stated that the c parameter - lover limit - may be negative. The paper shows some examples of the flow-duration curves for different river types and for different years.
