W artykule omówiono najważniejsze regulacje i dokumenty strategiczne związane z renowacją zasobów budowlanych w Polsce. Z uwagi na zachodzące zmiany klimatu i cele stawiane przez Unię Europejską niezbędne jest przyspieszenie tempa termomodernizacji istniejących budynków i wdrożenie odpowiedniego harmonogramu działań na rzecz poprawy efektywności energetycznej w budynkach o złej charakterystyce energetycznej. Obecnie strategicznym dokumentem, wskazującym kierunek i ogólne ramy czasowe prac renowacyjnych, jest Długoterminowa strategia renowacji budynków. W świetle nowelizacji dyrektywy EPBD jest to jednak dokument niewystarczający, dlatego niezbędne staje się opracowanie Krajowego planu renowacji budynków i jak najszybsze wdrożenie systemu paszportów renowacji budynków.

The article discusses the most important regulations and policy documents related to the renovation of the building stock in Poland. Due to the ongoing climate change and the goals set by the European Union, it is necessary to accelerate the pace of thermo-modernization of existing buildings and apply an appropriate schedule for implementing actions to improve energy efficiency in buildings with poor energy performance. The strategic document that indicates the direction and general timeframe of renovation work is the Long-Term Building Renovation Strategy, while in light of the amendment of the EPBD it is an insufficient document, so the development of a National Building Renovation Plan and the implementation of the Building Renovation Passport system as soon as possible are indicated as necessary.
