With rapid economic development and industrialization, air pollution is becoming a critical global issue affecting health. Sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides are the major contributors to acid rain and the key indicators for evaluating atmospheric pollution. And source intensity and meteorological factors are the main ways to influence the concentrations of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides. Thus, to investigate the specific effects of source intensity, temperature, humidity, wind speed and atmospheric pressure on SO2 and NOx, the path analysis method was used for the model. The results showed that Source intensity significantly affects the concentrations of SO2and NO2. For both NO2 and SO2, the source intensity accounted for around 40%. Meteorological factors have very limited effects on the concentrations of SO2and NO2. The effects of the meteorological factors on air pollutants are specific as differences in material properties. Humidity significantly affects the concentration of SO2while temperature, humidity and wind speed have significantly affected the concentration of NO2.

Human disturbance is an important factor in forming vegetation. According to our hypothesis, anthropogenic activity and changes in the species composition of grass communities occur in the process of co-evolution. Understanding co-evolution, to better predict future changes in the entire ecosystem. Five grassland sites were selected with different methods of use and hence different anthropogenic disturbance regimes. The results show that the composition of grassland communities responds to the methods of their use. The needs and demands of our civilization are changing. Humans co-create plant communities the preservation of which depends on their use by humans.

Outdoor noise propagation, is influenced by the energy of the sound source as well as properties of the medium in which acoustic waves travel. Elements of component phenomena, popularly called meteorological phenomena, influence noise energy propagation in open area, shaping the air mass dynamic. Two case studies are offered: the city of Łódź (Poland) and Montelimar (France). The comparison shows that the influence of meteorological conditions on noise propagation may make it easier to design and take urban decisions concerning the location of noisegenerating facilities.

PL
W opracowaniu zaprezentowano matematyczno-fizyczne modele refrakcji w przyziemnych warstwach atmosfery w zastosowaniu do pomiarów niwelacji trygonometrycznej i geometrycznej najwyższej precyzji. Podstawę dla wyznaczania efektów refrakcyjnych stanowią parametry pola meteorologicznego.
