Artykuł opisuje wyniki badań możliwości zastosowania technologii RFID do identyfikacji osób z wykorzystaniem nowoczesnych, pasywnych znaczników RFID z układem Impinj Monza R6. Omówiono przebieg badań dynamicznych, w trakcie których znaczniki umieszczane były w różnych miejscach na ciele człowieka, w celu sprawdzenia możliwości ich zainstalowania np. w formie karty, biletu, czy identyfikatora. Uzyskane wyniki porównano z wynikami testów przeprowadzonych z wykorzystaniem poprzednich generacji pasywnych znaczników RFID (Impinj, Raflatec oraz UPM) oraz różnych zestawów anten oraz czytników.

The aim of the study was to determine the suitability of passive RFID system operating in the UHF band to automatically identify people. Research conducted in the measuring system simulating office environment included the verification of the reading effectiveness of selected transponders of different geometric shapes, equipped with widely used Monza 4 chips and the latest generation of Monza R6 chips. Test scenarios included the placement of the markers, like identifiers in the form of plastic cards, in the typical places on human body - in front and back pockets and chest (for the identifier in the form of pendant). Situation with the helmet equipped in the RFID tag was also examined. The test results clearly showed the superiority of the transponder systems of Monza R6, which reading performance, even for the registration of the groups of people, was close to one hundred percent. The achieved results allows to create in the future an effective solution for automatic people identification based on the radio system working in UHF frequency.
