In the article were introduced people and events which they created as one from main idea cybernetics in science of the XX'th century. Cybernetic fascinations in Poland prepared background to development the computer science and the computer industry in Poland. Professor Tadeusz Wierzbicki was one of pioneers of computer science in western-northern Poland.
