Moment transformacji ustrojowej w Polsce w roku 1989 to proces przemian społecznych, ekonomicznych i gospodarczych, który trwa do dziś. Z punktu widzenia kształtowania zabudowy zmieniło się praktycznie wszystko. Korzystanie z katalogowej zabudowy jednorodzinnej pozornie poszło w niepamięć. Każdy z nas, o ile sytuacja finansowa mu na to pozwala może wybudować swój własny wymarzony dom. Ale czy ktoś tak naprawdę zastanawia się jak ten niepowtarzalny i jedyny dom funkcjonuje w zetknięciu z otaczającą rzeczywistością, czy tworzy spójny wyraz architektoniczny?. Poniższy artykuł porusza problem wolności w tworzeniu krajobrazu przestrzennego Polski i braku kultury budowania.
