Aim of publication is to introduce reader with general need and current situation of development of air traffic management systems and evaluation of actual operating network of aviation electronic support systems. The theme of the contribution is actual because there is currently an increase in the volume of the air traffic, which places increased demands on the safety level of air transport. Attempting to find new answers related to insufficient navigation systems has led aviation authorities to develop progressive systems based on cooperation with satellite navigation systems. Solution for capacity limited airports is development of system GBAS – Ground Based Augmentation System. The main purpose of publication is to present drafts of possible rationalization of navigation infrastructure of M.R. Stefanik airport. The effort to use the maximum potential of airspace consisted in the search for new concepts and trends in air traffic management based on the development of the technical pillar and new ways of managing the entire ATM system.

The passage through the Panama Canal has become the usual waterway for all the ships that can navigate through the Canal. The traffic through the canal is limited by the size of a ship. The need for the expansion of the Canal has emerged due to the development of the global trade and the shipping industry. The new dimensions of the lock-chambers determine the size of the ships as well. The new generation of ships built to the largest specifications possible to transit the current locks of the canal are called the Post-Panamax vessels. The maximum dimensions of these ships are 366 meters in length, 49 meters in beam and 15.2 metres in draught. The paper analyses savings in the operational costs on three types of the Post-Panamax vessels after the Canal expansion.

W artykule przedstawiono podział kosztów w transporcie kolejowym z uwzględnieniem kosztów wewnętrznych przedsiębiorstwa, do których zaliczają się między innymi koszty dostępu do infrastruktury, czy koszty energii. Stwierdzono, że przy odpowiedniej organizacji ruchu pociągów na sieci kolejowej, bez ponoszenia dodatkowych nakładów na infrastrukturę i specjalistyczne urządzenia, można znacznie ograniczyć zużycie energii, a co za tym idzie koszty z nią związane. Przytoczono stosowane rozwiązania polegające na monitorowaniu energetyki przejazdu i dążeniu do jak najmniej energochłonnych cykli jazdy oraz przedstawiono dokładniej ideę optymalnej strategii prowadzenia pojazdu szynowego w celu zaoszczędzenia energii. Dodatkowo zaproponowano uwzględnienie, przy procesach optymalizacji organizacji ruchu pojazdów na sieci kolejowej, kryterium efektywności transferu energii pochodzącej z rekuperacji między pojazdami. Zwrócono uwagę na czynniki sprzyjające takiej kooperacji (odległość między pojazdami, pokrywanie się czasów hamowania i rozruchu i inne), ale także problemy techniczne i organizacyjne z tym związane. Przedstawiony przegląd rozwiązań organizacyjnych pozwala stwierdzić, że u większości polskich przewoźników kolejowych istnieje duży potencjał ograniczenia kosztów transportowych przedsiębiorstw. Możliwości w tym zakresie daje odpowiednie organizowanie przewozów, w tym tworzenie zoptymalizowanych rozkładów jazdy z uwzględnieniem kryterium minimalizacji kosztów zużycia energii. Przedstawione rozwiązanie daje szansę pełniejszego wykorzystania wdrażanych technologii i ograniczenia zużycia energii.

In the article the distribution of costs in rail transport with emphasis on the cost of company policy, which include, inter alia, costs for infrastructure and energy costs were presented. Was found that proper organization of the movement of trains on the rail network without incurring additional expenditure on infrastructure and specialized equipment, can significantly reduce energy consumption and reduced the costs associated with it. Used solutions for energy monitoring consumption and optimization of cycles for the least energy-intensive ride were presented. Also the idea of an optimal strategy for driving in order to save energy was discussed. In addition, for the processes of optimizing the organization of traffic on the rail network, energy transfer efficiency criterion derived from recovery between vehicles was proposed. Attention is paid to the affect factors for cooperation between trains (the distance between vehicles, braking times overlap and start-up, etc.), but also the technical and organizational problems associated with it. Presented an overview of organizational solutions shows that for the majority of polish railway, there is great potential to reduce costs for transport companies. The possibilities in this area gives the proper organization of transport, including the creation of optimized timetable taking into account the criterion of minimizing the costs of electricity consumption. This solution gives the opportunity to more fully exploit the implemented technology and reducing cost of energy consumption.

Intencją autora artykułu jest zaprezentowanie procesu przemieszczenia kontyngentu wojskowego na odległy teatr działań, z uwzględnieniem poszczególnych etapów jego realizacji w świetle obowiązujących standardów i wymagań sojuszniczych. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na aspekty ekonomiczne towarzyszące procesowi decyzyjnemu oraz wielowariantowość działania, a także na fazę wykonawczą przedsięwzięcia z uwzględnieniem szeregu zagrożeń i sposobów minimalizacji ryzyka ich wystąpienia. Ukazane zostały również problemy związane z organizacją transportu na teatrze działań oraz funkcjonowaniem powietrznych i morskich mostów transportowych.

The main purpose of this article is to present the deployment process of a military contingent to an overseas theatre of operation in the light of NATO standards and requirements. In particular, attention has been drawn to the economic aspects associated with planning and executing an operation and also other important problems connected with supply chain security. An attempt has been made to show the in-theatre transport system organisation including procedures and capabilities of military airlift and sealift.

In the article the cost analysis of transport in the company production is presented. It also introduced costs involved in provision of transport services in their propriety involvement. At the end comparison in analysis of two transport strategies and their elaboration on the recommendations are showed.

Przedstawiono wyniki badań terenowych dotyczących nakładów czasu pracy i kosztów wykonania przewozu buraków cukrowych z pola do punktu skupu przy zastosowaniu agregatów transportowych o różnej ładowności (Ursus C360 + rożne środki przwozowe). Z zaprezentowanych danych liczbowych wynika, iż zwiększenie ładowności agregatu złożonego z ciągnika Ursus C360 z 1,5 t (wóz konny przystosowany do trakcji ciągnikowej) do 8 t (dwie przyczepy D-737) powoduje zmniejszenie nakładów czasu pracy - w przeliczeniu na jedną przewiezioną tonę ładunku o 82,3% - tj. z 1,75 do 0,31 godziny, oraz obniżenie kosztu przewozu o 75,9%.

Paper presented the results of practical scale investigations concerning the work time inputs and costs of sugar beet transport from the field to purchase centre at using transport carriages of different load capacity (Ursus C360 tractor + various transport means). It may be shown from presented figures that increasing the load capacity of a carriage hauled by Ursus C360 tractor from 1.5 t (a horse drawn cart adapted to the tractor traction) up to 8.5 t (two D737 tractor trailers) reduced the inputs of work time, as calculated per 1 t of transported load, by 82.3% or another words from 1.75 to 0.31 hrs/t, as well as it decreased the costs of transported by 75.9%.
