A significant problem of the current land management in Slovakia is the long-term separation of usage and property rights. More than 91% of agricultural land is leased and used by larger agricultural enterprises (9%). Current common agricultural policies of the EU have been the subject of criticism for a long time, as inappropriate settings force farmers to manage unsustainably with a negative impact on biodiversity. Substantial, reliable and beneficial mutual information sharing between those who do business on the land, who own the land and who use the surrounding landscape, either as a living space for housing or relaxation and recreation might help to mitigate some issues. In this paper, the authors present an implemented proposal for multi-layer map and analytical support for land and soil use assessment. The model area includes the land units managed by the Agricultural Cooperative of Horná Nitra. The approach includes the identification of undesirable combinations according to criteria (degree of protection, area, type of use, erosion risk, and ecological stability) on each land block. This concept enabled the visualization and quantification of risks in the area in question through an online GIS application with a web interface.

This work illustrates the application of a fuzzy-guided focused technique for cooperative 2D modeling of magnetic and gravity data on common geological sources responsible for anomalous observation, whereby a well-known fuzzy c-means clustering tool is inserted in the center of the inversion mechanism to search different clusters of geophysical properties which are magnetic susceptibility and density contrast within several zones. An unstructured meshing is performed with triangular cells which captures the accurate borders of a rugged topography area and any complex-shaped sought sources. The efficiency of the proposed cooperative inversion algorithm is examined along 2D profiles with simulation of several synthetic sources by which the retrieved geophysical properties indicate sharp edges, correct depth and shape pattern of the sought sources. Imposing a model stabilizer, a depth weighting function and petrophysics constraints of physical models within the clustering inversion, greatly promotes the performance of the constructed models over the outputs of running individually each data set. Of note is that a conjugate gradient solver is utilized here with a preconditioner to estimate approximately sought physical properties from an objective function with two constituents that are a model and a misfit norm. Ground-based gravity and magnetic observations over a plausible oil-trapping structure are investigated at the Kif region, situated in Iraq. Cooperative inversion output can pave the way for imaging of a fault feature which has been filled by a thick sequence of sediments, presenting a configuration of a graben-horst structure. The main notable output of this work proves the existence of an oil-trapping structure responsible for a distinct potential field geophysics anomaly.

Collective economy, with the core being cooperatives, is one of the four important economic components in the socialist-oriented market economy in our country. Developing a cooperative model is really important in the latest period, the digital economy, because this is an economic model that attracts farmers, individual economic households, individuals and many organizations, helping to restructure agriculture, build a new countryside, develop the country in a new direction, in accordance with objective laws. However, in order to develop the cooperative model according to its potential and ensure the distribution of benefits among its members and fulfill tax obligations to the state, the accounting work needs to be perfected. So that the management, the use of financial resources of the cooperative is done properly, sufficiently, transparently and objectively in accordance with the law. In fact, the accounting work under the cooperative model in Vietnam still has many weaknesses. The author has summarized, analyzed and given some specific solutions to improve the accounting work at the cooperative in the coming time.

Driving safety is a major concern all around the world of both the concerned authorities and the general public. In the context in which aggressive driving behaviour is generally considered to be a major cause of traffic accidents, the study of such a problem can help policy-makers in their endeavour to design better programs that aim at reducing aggressive driving behaviour. The purpose of the present paper is to analyse the above-mentioned problem by considering short- and medium-term alternative measures in terms of social cost. The optimal combination of short- and medium-term solutions will be shown to depend on the drivers’ level of aggressiveness, which, naturally, also depends on the gap between the existent infrastructure and the volume of motorized traffic. Special attention is given to the impact of civic campaigns on the level of aggressiveness.

The purpose of the article is to present the importance of cooperatives in terms of food supply and to answer the question if the regulations make it easier or more difficult to set up and develop cooperatives in agriculture, manufacturing and food supplies. The study is based mainly on Polish and EU legal acts as well as on reference books on cooperativeness in agriculture and on statistical data. In the first place the paper presents a general description of cooperatives in a food supply chain. At present, there are about 3,500 cooperatives in agriculture and rural areas. Then, the paper analyses legal regulations. The fundamental law which regulates the problem of cooperatives in Poland is the Cooperative Law Act of 16 September 1982. The above analysis has shown that cooperatives, being present in many stages of the supply chain, are a significant instrument of the development of agro-logistics. It results from a diversified activity of such entities. Due to social and economical changes, it is fully justified to postulate the creation of a new model of cooperativeness in food and agriculture sector which would make the cooperatives more competitive on the market, give them stable situation in terms of agricultural lands they posses and guarantee stable economic development.

W pierwszej kolejności przedstawiono dane statystyczne i ogólną charakterystykę udziału spółdzielni w łańcuchu dostaw żywności. Wynika to m.in. ze zróżnicowanej działalności takich podmiotów. Zdaniem Autorki dla rozwoju spółdzielczości w branży rolno-spożywczej postulować należy uchwalenie nowej ustawy Prawo Spółdzielcze. Powinna ona wprowadzić uproszczenia w zakresie zakładania i prowadzenia działalności przez spółdzielnie. Przepisy zawarte w obecnej ustawie z 16 września 1982 r. w znakomitej większości powstały jeszcze przed transformacją ustrojową i nie odpowiadają obecnym warunkom społeczno-gospodarczym. Stanowią one czasami czynnik hamujący rozwój spółdzielczości i powstawanie nowych podmiotów.
