The subject of the studies is the evaluation of the operation of a production system after modernization. The analysed case concerns the modernization forced by the end of the product lifetime. The proposed methodology is that of a multicriterial evaluation of the system operation after modernization. The evaluation criteria are selected TPM indices: availability of machinery and equipment, production process capacity, product quality and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). The additional criteria are reliability indices MTBF and MTTR of studied production lines and the MTTR of the most unreliable equipment in each analysed line. A yearly monitoring of production process was proposed for obtaining the statistical credibility of the evaluation results. Additionally, a fuzzy indicator of acceptability of the modernization assessment was proposed. The paper presents the results of studies of the system for production of zinc concentrate from post-production waste. The obtained values of OEE, MTBF and MTTR indicators for the three tested lines make it possible to state that the modernization carried out is acceptable.

Artykuł zawiera przykładową analizę wybranych procesów systemu produkcyjnego, która jest krokiem w doskonaleniu przepływu materiałów w przedsiębiorstwie. Dotyczy ona procesu produkcji płytek klinkierowych w zakładzie ceramicznym. Stosując się do obranego algorytmu analizy zbadana została struktura procesu i stworzono jego schemat technologiczny. Wyznaczono także niezawodność układu oraz jego średnią wydajność, co pozwoliło na oszacowanie ponoszonych strat materiału. W układzie zastosowano dodatkowe elementy pojemnościowe. Aby sprawdzić czy ich obecność jest celowa a umiejscowienie odpowiednie, przeanalizowano także możliwe do osiągnięcia stany dla wybranych fragmentów układu, a także przejścia między nimi. Wynikiem rozważań jest wskazanie działań, których podjęcie w omawianym przedsiębiorstwie mogło by mieć pozytywny skutek ze względu na doskonalenie przepływu materiałów.

The text includes a sample analysis of selected processes of the production system, which is a step in the improvement of the flow of materials within the company. It applies to the production of clinker tiles in ceramic factory. Following the chosen algorithm, the structure of process has been analyzed. As a result, the flowsheet has been developed. The analysis included reliability of system and its average efficiency, which allowed the estimation of losses of material. The system uses an additional capacitive elements. To check whether their presence is justified and their location is properly chosen, the possible states of chosen parts of system and transitions between them were examined. Result of analysis is identifying actions that should be taken in enterprise to improve the materials flow.
