Plany rozwojowe sieci elektroenergetycznej, są przygotowywane w oparciu o deterministyczne analizy pracy sieci prowadzonych na modelach charakterystycznych. Artykuł przedstawia możliwości, jakie dają analizy statystycznostochastyczne oparte na rocznym profilu pracy sieci i scenariuszu zdarzeń sieciowych w porównaniu do analizy deterministycznej. Power system development plans are prepared in the basis of deterministic grid analyses of base models – summer light load, summer peak load, winter peak load, winter light load. This approach reduces the view to maximum threats, in particular the maximum overloads and overvoltages. The models have a defined size of the load demand, the size and location of the generation and the lines capacity. Wind and photovoltaic generation and lines capacity depend on the changing nature of temperature, wind and clouds, which are not taken into account in deterministic analyses. The possibilities offered by analyses based on the annual power system profiles and contingencies scenarios compared to the deterministic ones are presented in the paper. Such approach provides much more reliable results and enables to recommend efficient tailored investments. Statistical and stochastic analyses supplement conclusions drawn in deterministic analyses especially when these give ambiguous results. This enables the qualitative and quantitative determination of risks in the line load distribution.
