W gospodarce rynkowej istotne jest intensyfikowanie prac w zakresie tworzenia uporządkowanych rodzin konstrukcji. Odnośnie doboru cech konstrukcyjnych istnieją metody i środki wspomagające te stadia procesu. Natomiast brak narzędzi ekono micznej oceny tworzenia uporządkowanych rodzin konstrukcji. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie metody wyznaczania relatywnych kosztów w typoszeregach konstrukcji w celu racjonalnego ich tworzenia.

There is no tool to estimate costs. The construction attributes calculatingprograms are deyeloped. But manufacturing costs valuation is based on expert's opinion. The dedicated tool is needed. The decisions made in early projecting - constructional stage is very important for production costs. The four main cost estimating methods were distinguished: feature-based method, method based on construction similarity theory, CAM method, and simplified method. In the first method technological operations are dedicated to specified pieces of element. Cost manufacturing of every piea is specified. Based on elementary costs the whole part manufacturing cost is calculated. In the second method select part, manufacturing costs are functionally depended on main part manufacturing costs. The third, CAM method, is based on time calculation from manufacturing process simulation. Finally, the simplified method uses normalized masses of analyzed part pieces. The balance coefficients of those pieces are specified. All this methods allows estimating cost which varies of construction and technological attributes. The future based estimating methods needs a database. The CAM method is most aceurate. But it can be applied with numerical controlled machine only. The simplified method is not so much complex, but the result is most non-aceurate.
