The work presents the implementation of the two-equation turbulent heat transfer model into the computer code 'Convert'. The work reports validation of the results of numerical simulations using both k e Turbulence model for velocity calculations and a two-equation t2 et turbulent heat transfer model for thermal field calculations. The response of the turbulent heat transfer model has not been found to be remarkably satisfactory under such simple conditions. The turbulent heat transfer model is still not reliable enough to be recommended for the adequate modelling of the forced convection flows even in the case of constant property flows.

Praca zawiera sprawozdanie z implementacji dwu-równaniowego modelu turbulentnej wymiany ciepła autorstwa Abe et al. [13] do programu komputerowego 'Convert'. Praca zawiera weryfikację zarówno modelu turbulencji typu k-e autorstwa Abe et. Al. [9] jak i modelu wymiany ciepła t2-et. Odpowiedzi modeli nie są satysfakcjonujące nawet w warunkach nieskomplikowanych geometrii przepływu takich jak przepływ w rurze pionowej. Modele turbulentnej wymiany ciepła wymagają dalszych badań i udoskonaleń aby stały się w pełni zadowalającym narzędziem pracy.
