The aim of every designer is to lower the size of torsional oscillations in any given mechanical system. Presently this task is predominantly secured by suitable adjustment of dynamic properties of flexible shaft couplings to the dynamic of given systems. The liability of dynamic properties of presently applied flexible couplings, caused by aging and wear-off of flexible elements, is the cause of disruption of tune-up of mechanical systems. We are suggesting to apply in the mechanical systems the newly developed pneumatic couplings, which are not loosing the original characteristic properties and have a positive impact upon the operation of given systems.
