Cel: Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie sposobów łączenia organizacji zgodnie z przepisami kodeksu spółek handlowych oraz określenie wpływu, jaki wywołuje na sferę zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem, a w szczególności na system zarządzania środowiskowego. Wydaje się, że problematyka poruszona w artykule jest istotna z uwagi na powszechność zjawiska konsolidacji przedsiębiorstw. W tekście przedstawiono studium przypadku przedstawiające główne elementy systemu ISO serii 14000, jakim jest podejście do identyfikacji aspektów środowiskowych w wybranych łączących się spółkach. Na podstawie analizy można wnioskować o zróżnicowanych efektach środowiskowych, pomimo że podmioty funkcjonują w tym samym sektorze. W ramach studium przypadku przedstawiono wprowadzone nowe zasady kwalifikacji aspektów w ramach skonsolidowanego podmiotu. Projekt badania/metodyka badawcza/koncepcja: Wykorzystano analizę literatury oraz analizę przypadku pięciu konsolidowanych przedsiębiorstw. Wyniki/wnioski: Główne wnioski koncentrują się wokół stwierdzenia, że określony tryb łączenia przedsiębiorstw skutkujący przyjęciem określonej struktury organizacyjnej powoduje konieczność szybkiej przebudowy systemu zarządzania środowiskowego. Analiza podejścia do kwalifikacji aspektów środowiskowych przykładowych dwóch łączących się w grupie podmiotów wskazuje, że występuje duże zróżnicowanie kryteriów, a tym samym mamy do czynienia z różną efektywnością systemów środowiskowych pomimo działania w tym samym sektorze. Ograniczenia: Analiza zróżnicowanego podejścia do kwalifikacji aspektów środowiskowych w podobnych podmiotach może prowadzić do wniosków wskazujących na potrzebę standaryzacji wytycznych w tym obszarze w nowej wersji normy. Zastosowanie praktyczne: Możliwość wzorowania się na przedstawionych zasadach kwalifikacji aspektów środowiskowych (benchmarking). Oryginalność /wartość poznawcza: W literaturze przedmiotu brakuje prac dotyczących procesów dostosowawczych dotyczących systemów zarządzania środowiskowego, w szczególności w kontekście procesów konsolidacji podmiotów. Artykuł wypełnia tę lukę.

Purpose: The purpose of the article is to present the methods of merging organizations in accordance with the provisions of the Commercial Companies Code and to determine the impact it has on the sphere of enterprise management, particularly on the environmental management system. It seems that the issues raised in the article are important due to the commonness of the phenomenon of enterprise consolidation. The text includes a case study that highlights the main elements of the ISO 14000 series system, focusing on the approach to identifying environmental aspects of selected merging companies. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that there are diversified environmental effects, despite the fact that the entities operate in the same sector. The case study also presents the newly introduced rules for the qualification of aspects within the consolidated entity. Design/methodology/approach: The study used both a literature review and a case study of five consolidated enterprises. Findings/conclusions: The main conclusions focus on the statement that a specific mode of merging companies, resulting in the adoption of a specific organizational structure, requires a rapid reconstruction of the environmental management system. The analysis of the approach to the qualification of environmental aspects in two examples of merging entities within a group indicates a significant differentiation in criteria, which means that we are dealing with different efficiency of environmental systems despite operating in the same sector. Research limitations: The analysis of the different approaches to the qualification of environmental aspects in similar entities may result in conclusions regarding the need to work on the need to standardize guidelines in this area in the new version of the standard. Practical implications: Possibility of following the presented principles of qualification of environmental aspects (benchmarking). Originality/value: There is a lack of works in the literature on the subject concerning adjustment processes related to environmental management systems, in particular in the context of entity consolidation processes. The article fills this gap.

The Process of Land Consolidation as the Element of Arranging Rural Space on the Example of the Łubka and Zaliszcze Villages

The aim of this work is to present the selected effects of consolidation processes conducted in 2011–2014 within the Łubka region, Siemień commune and within the Zaliszcze area, Podedwórze commune, Parczew district, Lublin Voivodeship. The consolidation activities within Łubka region were conducted over the area of 156.2937 ha and involved 60 participants. Within the Zaliszcze region, the general development area amounted to 1174.2580 ha and involved 152 participants. The project of land consolidation was developed by the Voivodeship Office of Surveying in Lublin, Branch Office in Biała Podlaska. In order to assess the basic results of land consolidation, the technical-spatial parameters were applied (the index of reducing the number of plots and extension of their surface). The main effects of the conducted process of consolidation include: decrease of a general number of record plots and an increase of the average surface of them within the region, which resulted in a reduction of the number of plots and decrease of the average surface of the plot in the farmstead. Furthermore, in conjunction with the change in the distribution of individual record plots, the farm layout has improved. Numerous agritechnical and recultivating works were also conducted and a functional network of municipal roads was created.
